Walking into Herts donut shop like “whaddup i want a donut” . “This is heaven” was the first thing I said as I looked around and the smell of fresh warm donuts hit my face . The place wasn't as big as I thought it was going to be , it was actually kinda small but it just made it feel more cozy in there . It was super warm in there , and I could smell all the kinds of donuts and coffee drinks they had . I could smell the fresh ground coffee and the freshly brewed tea. That wasn't even the best part , the best part had to be the smell of warm donuts that hit my nostrils. I could smell the chocolate frosting , the peanut butter, the Nutella and even the toppings such as the caramel and strawberry drizzle and the oreos and candy they use .
My favorite smell is the smell of fresh burning wood of bonfires. As I breathe in the smoky smell of fire, I start to picture Silver Dollar City. I begin to hear the crowds of people stepping on the crunchy leaves and making sounds of delight when they see their favorite roller coaster. I can picture the thrilling sensation and hearing the screams of happiness as I walk by a ride. I breathe in the crisp, smoky smell again to see millions of twinkling lights around every tree and building.I take a deep smell of the burning wood and I picture myself in line for my favorite treat in the whole world, as I take a bite I can feel the joy slowly spreading through my body, to the very tips of my fingers. The warmth in my body makes me gambol to the
I’m in a quiet and warm place. I hear a noise and noticed that I just stepped on a branch filled with color edible blueberries. I look up and see all types of edible fruit that surround these colorful trees. Crackling leaves, crunching twigs, the fresh scent of pine nuts in a rainy mahogany brown forest surround me. It feels like paradise. As I walked slow and relaxed, I can hear a deafening uproar of a mocking jay above me, a glimpse of a tiger’s gold bright eyes as he passed by me and a bright light leading me the way to the blue horizon. In my tranquil place it’s always summer. Not too hot, but just right with a slight breeze gently against on my skin. The ocean is surrounded by palm trees the size of buildings
Finally, my parents were tired of the annoying beggar, so they let me try roller skating. The second I stepped into the roller skating place, I smelled the delicious, salty popcorn scent. The strong-smelling of popcorn made me want to eat them right away, but I have to remind myself the reason I am here. Waiting for my mother paying for the
Everything was so new and yet so familiar. Places I have seen and places I have not. A new and funny feeling swam through my body unsure what to think about this feeling. Never felt it before, and I somehow knew it wouldn’t be that last.
I am looking for the man who is attracted to my picture portfolio, actually reads this profile, realizes just how hungry and lonely he’s been for someone ready to share the happiness in her soul to lift his. That man has to be big enough, secure in himself that friendship comes before sex and attraction. You must be old enough, wise enough, and smart enough to know that sex and attraction is also based on two-way chemistry, and is a completely separate entity from companionship. Some long-married couples survive having just one of the two.
Despite its location, Dot’s Donuts shop was about to get famous. My friend named Luke just opened his first shop that sold donuts. Luke is a very nice guy he will help you any way he can. The way he started his donuts shop is his mom passed away and she left him the ingredients to make the donuts. We got his shop set up and ready for opening but the funny thing was the shop was around a lot of hot dog shops so we would get a lot more money. A couple of weeks has went by and everything was going good but one day out of the blue Luke got a phone call. He put it on speaker phone and they said ‘i have talked to the other hot dog shops and we think you should move your shop somewhere else because you are taking our money and people’! Luke said ‘i
“Chew like you’re chewing gum” my mom yelled as she demonstrated. It had been a long journey and I just wanted to stop and rest when several delicious aromas traveled into my nose and caused my stomach to growl as if I hadn’t eaten for three days. Following it was a scent of well done burgers with melted cheese and a side of mouthwatering, crunchy fries. The smell of freshly roasted coffee was everywhere and it was so calming to me because it reminded me of home.
After about two hours I opened my window and the smell hit me like a ton of bricks. It smelled of nature the smell of pine trees that danced with the changes in the wind, the smell that comes
When I take my first step through the door at Cracker Barrel, the sudden smell of sweet cinnamon, sugars, and spices fill my nose as I look at familiar sights. From left to right, gifts are decorated on top of the shelves and fine glasses are stacked on top of each other in a neat array. Candies are stored together in wooden bins, and clothes hand neatly on the clothing racks. The yellow lights make everything seem brighter and give me a warmer feeling. As I walk ahead past the cashier at my left to see the other half of the place, I see a huge restaurant straight ahead of me with a lady waitress waiting at the front to greet guests with a friendly “hello.” While my family and I were walking to take our
Leading them to eat some delicious eggs that are sprinkled with the definite amount of salt and pepper. Later when the eggs are at their peak of almost ready then they add some soft, warm, and stringy cheese. Then to add some warm, crispy, honey flavored bacon. Along with all that they give you light browned toast with some light yellow butter melted faster than the sun and snow. The employees can hear them crunch into it and look and smile with satisfaction. They come frequently to check and see if you are doing good. If everything is tasting good, but everyone one knows that it’s a grand breakfast. There are vintage photographs placed around the wall of the shop, allowing coffee tasters to admire the photo-taking techniques, and memorizing their past. People like walking into this mini art museum and look at the pictures in this hushed environment. The dim lights on the nine foot ceiling were bright enough to shine on the chestnut colored furniture. Sofa, chairs and tables were all sorrel. While it combines with the green Starbucks logo. Although some whirring and sounds of coffee machine interrupted everyone timely, they still love this place so much when they ever feel
There I was standing in the middle of the Kansas State Fair, looking straight down the aisle of the food court. Take in a nice big whiff and smell all of the aromas of the food that are to the and the right and to the right. The smell of the savory corn dogs mixes with the tangy aroma that comes from the fried pickle. The smell of the wonderful food makes the thought of how sticky and gross the ground under your shoes, just slip out of your mind. Sounds of kids yelling in the carnival mix in with all of the sizzling of grease and oil. Walking down the path and see all of the food other people have in their hands and think to myself, I must have that. My brain just drooling from the sight and smell of all of the fermented food. Food is one of the things I came for so I buy myself an order of fried pickles.
The lights encased in their glass cases were the most beautiful things I had ever seen. They were hanging from dainty looking poles, flowers engraves in the dark metal. My eyes lit up with every look I gave, in every direction I looked, it was the most beautiful place I had ever been in. The path under my feet was made of concrete, but it was the color of the night sky, black with little white stars dotting in every direction. The tall oak trees that seemed to wrap around the path made it seem even more inviting to me. The temperate fall air was blowing against my rounded cheeks, causing small bits of pollen to stick to my dew dusted face. The sound of music was emanating from the building ahead of me, more lights seemed the shine from that
Sugar and bittersweet almonds and coffee in Imperial Biscotti Break topped off with doughnuts galore. Pours black with a nice looking tan head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and liquorish. Flavor is sweet and medium bitter with a full-bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is sweet, dark chocolate and warming alcohol.
The aroma of the vegetation of the whole jungle mixed all together and formed a smell that engulfed the air around me creating heavenly humid atmosphere. I took a deep breath in not wanting to exhale and wishing that it could be a replacement for oxygen, I could feel little drops on the tip of my nose that were tickling me. As I basked in this atmosphere it felt like I was in another
The noise was no different, workers yelling at me to play their games, parents yelling for their kids, and the music blaring. The smell was the only thing delightful. When the wind blew across my nose all I was able to smell was the freshly cooked french-fries.
