The most notorious political issue today is seemingly Donald Trump running for the presidential election. Personally I love the case that he’s running for president. Americans need a strong leader to administer this country. America was founded by hard working citizens like Trump, and quite frankly, it's about time it become that way again. Why should we acquire Obama, who's not even 100% American when we could enjoy someone who’s been here forever and actually knows the problems that we are facing in America today? Trump said, “Make America Great Again.” He stated that fact because America was great at one point until Obama came in and polluted everything with his policies. The only issue that many Americans find
The United States of America is a fast paced and resourceful country; the issues are constantly changing as the opinions of political officials and the people change. I believe that the current main three issues in the United States are the economy, the constant threat of terrorism, and corruption in politics. I would advise a candidate to draw attention to the 17 trillion dollar debt, and emphasize its looming relevance over our country. The United States cannot be entirely free if we are indebted to multiple countries. Paying down the debt will not necessarily be favorable with most US citizens since one of the only ways to pay back such a large amount is to raise taxes. Additionally, it would be unwise of a candidate to state that their intentions are to
In a few days Donald Trump will become our president of the United States. Between Obama and Trump they are so much different Obama is a whole different person from Trump. I realized so much in these two from their speeches they did, from the way they talk, body language, and how they act around the press. I realized and i always knew that Trump would never make a good president just from speech. I have always liked Obama he did amazing things for us, he changed so many things in the US i am glad he was our president.
Presidential elections are an important aspect of U.S. history. This year is probably one of the more interesting ones since Donald Trump, an entertainer, is running for president even though he has no experience with politics. His campaign is widely criticized but he still holds a major lead from 30-40% depending on the state. Donald Trump should not be the President of United States at all, his views are bigoted, sexist and racist. Our president should not feel that he is superior to others and constantly degrade others for their race, religion, gender, etc. Not only are his views disgraceful but he has no past experience with politics,
With last year being the first election that I could vote in, I took particular interest in keeping up with politics as much as I could. It was truly sad to see Obama leave office, being that he was a symbol of hope for so many, regardless of the critiques on how well he did his job. When our current president, something that is still hard for me to face the reality of, Donald Trump, announced his campaign I thought he had no chance. I did not see it possible for a man with no political background, who is only known for being a wealthy businessman along with reality star to become the leader of
In today's day and age voters are losing sight of what conservative views brought this country to its peak, and more importantly what views will keep it on its path of greatness. Trumps campaign to “Make America Great Again” has three very important topics which make him the better candidate.
Nowadays, undergoing weight loss is one of the major controversial issues facing America. Many believe that what you consume is more important than how much you consume. While others argue that in order to lose weight you must lose more calories than the calories you consume. Although both sides may be true, after reviewing the sources provided I have concluded that what you consume can be more important when trying to undergo weight loss.
Donald Trump America’s president elect has done and said several controversial statements throughout the duration of the presidential race. Some of the issues or topics that were controversial was immigration, feminism, and employment. Donald Trump believes that immigrants should not be allowed to be apart of the country he has said unbelievably disgusting things about Mexicans. One of the controversial things he said pertaining to Mexicans was they are dangerous criminals and drug dealers that is basically up to no good and they are coming here to “steal our jobs” he also discussed building a wall to block out the immigrants specifically the Mexicans. If America is the land of the free everyone should have equal opportunity to make a living even if they are coming from a different country. In this country
America’s current political events and values are reflected through the film industry’s portrayal of superheroes. Post 9/11, it has become increasing clear that the issues and values held dear to most Americans are now being portrayed on the big screen. Fighting back at the “enemy” and consolidating as one were some of the messages in the background of superhero films after the attacks on the twin towers. More recently it has become apparent that the USA is becoming more divided; just like the superheroes that have been on the silver screen in recent months. America’s allowances for overly violent superheroes and everything said superheroes stand for, are simply just reflections of their own socio-political views and values. It is this allowance that has lead to the rise of Donald Trump.
First of all, Trump will not make America great again. He says rude things and then denies it and blames others. “ And when he became tied to the idea of creating
If Donald trump wants to make America great again then he will do it no matter what difficulties occur. He will strive for a better image like himself, which is what America needs to show to other countries. Showing that we are built strong and no fear happens when America is
Donald Trump: American billionaire, businessman, television producer and the Republican Party nominee for President of the United States who speaks the phrase “Make America great again” We hear his slogan during presidential debates, campaign rallies, and on social media; but what does Trump actually mean by this phrase? When was the golden period in American history and do we want to relive back to that point in time?
The United States has strived to be the strongest and most free democracy in the world, even though the United States truly is a republic. As a nation the United States have faced many issues that has greatly divided the nation, but we as a nation have been able resolve the most pressing of them. Today we face new issues that seem to cut deeper and push us farther apart.
To begin with, Trump's simple message really resonated with many Americans who found the “American Dream” to be a fitting way of life. This message was “ Make America Great Again.” These four words can be described as following, “ ...it captured both pessimism and optimism, both
The 45th president of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump. Trump’s platform is based on the two nationalistic concepts: “Make America Great Again” and “America First.” These concepts have encapsulated Trump’s run for presidency, his current term, and his policy. The concept of “Making America Great Again” taps into white people's belief of an white Christian country and their fear of immigration. Additionally, Trump’s comments of Mexicans being drug dealers, rapist, and criminals helps to exacerbate the issue and make White America fearful of being overrun by immigrants that are taking jobs away from hard working tax paying American system. This shown through Trump’s Muslim ban and his decision to reverse Obama’s 2012 executive DACA. DACA essentially protects thousands of young immigrants brought to the United States illegally as children and allows them to remain in the country without constant fear of deportation. Essentially, the slogan “Make America Great Again” talks about returning America to it’s former glory and putting American citizens, especially America's white citizens, first. And, this concept of “America First” is displayed on whitehouse.gov for Donald Trump reads “America First Energy plan” and “America First Foreign Policy.” Both of the plans essentially puts America’s need and American citizens front and furthermost before entering any agreement. This idea can be explained in Trump’s decision to withdraw from Paris environment agreement unless it the agreement is better for American businesses and taxpayers. While Trump’s nationalistic approach helped him win the election, as policy it essentially serves to cut America away from other countries and turn inward if we now as a country refuse to work with
agencies to identify key social issues for reform, while influencing the outcome of the decision making process.
