BASIC INFORMATION

Unicellular organisms - the organisms which are made up of single cell and only that particular cell is performing all the functions. Eg; amoeba, paramecium etc.

Multicellular organisms -  these individuals are made up of more than one cell where group of cells forms tissues, organs which work together to perform various functions. Eg; human beings, animals etc.

Symmetry - it refers to phenomenon of dividing an organism. It is of two types Bilateral and Radial symmetry.

Bilateral is the one in which body is divided in two equal halves in a fixed plane while, in Radial symmetry animal can be cut from any plane.
