Career Counseling is a process that helps to understand the prospect in order to make career, educational, and life decisions. The trait-and factor theory of career counseling appeared to be utilized by the counselor in the video. This model requires taking into consideration someone's abilities or aptitude, personal values, and occupational interests in order to determine someone's personality.
The ways by which the basic characteristics of science are relevant to career counselors are to the logic behind every step taken. The listening skills required in front of the client is very important as it may happen that a counselor may miss points and analyze them differently.
