The functions of LH, FSH, and testosterone in males are as follows:
LH: It stimulates testosterone production from the interstitial cells of the testes, i.e., the Leydig cells.
FSH: It acts on testicular growth and enhances the production of an androgen-binding protein by the Sertoli cells. It stimulates the process of spermatogenesis.
Testosterone: It regulates sex drive, bone mass, fat distribution, muscle mass and strength, and the production of red blood cells and sperm.
