There are some rights that are associated with safe drug administration are given as follows:
1)Right drug= This is the right that means the nurse should always check and verify the name of the drug before giving it to the patient from the prescription.
The nurse should verify the name of the drug before taking out the drug, during preparing the drug and after returning back the drug.
3)RIGHT DOSE=Before medicating the nurse should verify the dosage from the physician order.
The nurse should be aware that the dosage for the adult and pediatric is different so the nurse should administer medication according to that.
4)Right Time= The drug that is administering should according to the time and frequency as the doctor has prescribed.
5)Right Route= The drug should be administered by the route as prescribed by the physician. For example; Some drugs are given by oral route, some are given by intramuscular etc.
