It is the creation of a virtual version of a device or resource. It gives a virtual view computing resources. Its allows you to turn one server into several hosts.

When you think about the term Virtualization, the company VMWare most likely will come to mind. In fact, you may not realise that it actually started back in the early 1960’s. it was pioneered by companies like General Electric, Bell labs, and International Business Machines (IBM).
