Better Health Association Organization Plan

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to interview for the Executive Director position at Northwell Health. As requested, I will provide you with my skills, abilities, and knowledge within a strategic leadership context. I will also outline my experience in providing a vision and strategy for change, establishing collaborative group decisions, creating constituencies and coalitions, strategic policy planning, and leading legal, financial, organizational, and political dimensions of strategic planning and policy development.

For almost half a decade HOSA has provided students the gateway for to develop leadership and technical skills in healthcare. For many, HOSA has allowed them to achieve their full potential and interact with people who share their same interests. HOSA has given me many opportunities, from national competition where I was able to study current health issues and interact with HOSA members from around the world to the fall leadership conference where I have been able to improve my leadership and communication skills. HOSA has given me countless opportunities, and now I want to give back. Becoming a HOSA state officer will allow me to give back to my fellow members by helping them to achieve their own personal interests in HOSA. I want to apply my experience as a leader and involvement in my community during my time as a HOSA state officer to help members fulfill their personal goals and the mission

To improve the well-being of individuals through health education, counseling and detection screening programs. Over the next few weeks, our mission will consist of finding new solutions to better educate individuals in our society on the importance of health education, by improving care through technology, which ultimately better our society. Our organization will focus on fundraising, however, we focus on fundraising will be from a health perspective, to make sure we focus on individual health at all times. I will be responsible for the implantation of Better Health Care

I found the program to be well rounded in the health care field and I am happy that I chose to continue with this program as an entry into the health administration field. This program has given me more opportunity to prepare an entrance into a professional environment of being of service in various health facilities and agencies, clinics and hospitals. The responsibility of the health administrator will encompass a wide variety of duties including but not limited to administrative, medical, legal and ethical requirements and brilliantly combines the overall knowledge of the business administration and the health care system.

This is a performance-oriented organization devoted to improving the level of health care given to children. After its establishment in 1999, principal focus was to get rid of the gap the links what is and what can exist in healthcare for every child. Its main emphasis was to put a stop to childhood obesity, promote centered care for children with chronic conditions, and to promote equity in care for everyone. Under the management of experienced professionals in children healthcare, its work focused towards improving children's healthcare to realize this goal through awareness. NICHQ drives attention towards the need to spread the message of success demonstrating the possibility of improving children's health care to realize better outcomes. It conducted a project to fit in excellence upgrading and cultural proficiency in clinics.

Their goal is to continue to improve on the quality of care of patients- There mission and vision statements elaborate well and the focus on this.

Health care administration is a very important and crucial role in today’s healthcare system. With an ever-changing national health care system, the role of a Health care Administrator or Healthcare Executive more than ever is needed. Healthcare facilities, organizations, and or offices rely on health care administrators to plan, direct and coordinate all medical health services (United States Department of Labor , 2014). Some areas where one might find administrators are managing entire medical facilities, specialized clinical departments, or a medical practice for a group of physicians (United States Department of Labor , 2014). The need for high-quality health care administers is more now than ever with the fast-changing health care laws.

Additionally, I have decided to expand and improve the organization’s reputation and name by offering online and on-site educational programs, and create new research programs for further investigations to find a cure for this disease. Being in a managerial position, I should say that it requires more of responsibilities and duties of the whole association itself rather than just focusing on one side because it’s dealing with multiple locations throughout the states and its development organization.

The mission of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation is to provide accessible, comprehensive healthcare services that are quality-driven, customer-focused, and cost-effective. The vision of the organization is to be the provider of choice for the communities it serves, the employer of choice for its staff, and the system of choice for its physicians (www.hhsc.org, 2014). The organization works with the physician base along with other service providers to plan and implement business ventures that will enhance the services offered to its patients. Employees and community leaders are included in the decision making processes to ensure adequate representation. Each facility has its own separate mission and vision statement that integrates into the overarching statement of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation.

Looking ahead into the coming century and seeing that life is becoming only more complex and busier, the program attempts to make its plans as easy as possible and to customize them to people's lives. The next layer will be filled by the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). CEO will provide a link between the functional departments and the board of directors; he will be responsible for presenting the aims and objectives of the hospital to the board of directors and designing strategies to achieve them. There will be an administrative assistant who would be responsible for assisting the CEO in his work by providing him a detailed action plan and keeping him informed about the progress. The next layer will consist of the functional units of the organization which would include financial executives, health informatics, pathway service providers, community relations and a research centre.
