Even Though some people wouldn't agree. Having a cell phone saves lives. A girl from hot springs was stolen and taken to an ally. She had her phone with her so she called the police to come get here. Ever since cellular phones first came to be in the 1980’s, people have been using them to carry out conversations, ask questions, or meet new people. Once cell phones reached a height of internet capabilities, smartphones were created. Cell phones from then on ended up changing society entirely. This research study could explain the effects of cell phones from their creation to today’s society and how they would influence the future generations. This study would also focus on the evolution of how cell phones become even more involved in our lives and how they truly influence us. This study would be beneficial to our generation by teaching them how technology is expanding, and the lives of humans will get easier as time goes on. Furthermore, this study would be beneficial as a report on how cell phones came to be in our history. This would expectedly heighten the awareness of society to how different our lives could be according to technological development. To the future researchers, this study could be used as a base for data in future development into how society adapts.

When I got the assignment, I sat thinking about which technology I felt was most important in my life and became amazed about how popular, of all the technology, cell phones have become. It’s amazing that in our culture we make ourselves available every minute of every day. Many people don’t even have home phones anymore. Cell phones have become more of a necessity more than a need nowadays. They became an essential communication tool. Many may want to view the cell phone as your personal safety device, especially if you live alone, some distance from family, or. We use cell phones for several different reasons such as entertainment/personalization, communication, and in case of emergency.

Cell Phones are objects that we see all around us every day, at all times of the day. However, everyone uses their cell phones in different ways for different reasons. The younger generation of this era does not know how it was in the past without such advanced technology like we have nowadays. Depending on the way that the owner of the phone uses it, shows how important it really is in their daily life and its importance in the owner’s lifestyle. In my opinion, cellphones are important to everyone of all ages because they inform us when there are amber alerts or weather alerts, to stay in contact with others just in case of an emergency, and to get around places with the use of google maps or other apps that are meant for maps.

With the advancement of cellular technology cell phones have become miniaturized transportable computers. With one handheld device you can now send: Emails, text messages, phone calls and leave voice mails. It used to take multiple devices to accomplish these actions. To check any missed calls you would have had to wait until the end of the day when you got home to see any missed calls or voicemails. Now you don’t even have to miss a call, your cell phone can literally go with you almost anywhere. Cell phones are a major distraction, however they do have some good qualities. They keep people and their worked linked at all times. Cell phones also keep parents and their children connected. There’s no more wondering where your children are. With a simple call to their phone you no know at the touch of a button.

I found the topic of how cell phones affect society very interesting and relevant to my time. Technology like cell phones are a very big aspect of life and will continue to grow. I knew very little before I researched the topic. All that I knew was the things I see day to day, but I spent a week researching how they affect our interaction and found some very interesting facts. I found a lot of new aspects of life that cell phones affect that I never thought of. Many of the facts I found as I researched I actually had seen before, I just had not paid attention to them.

Cell phones brings many positive and negative benefits to our everyday lives that we may or may not notice. A simple text could leave you feeling giddy and joyful, or sad and traumatized. A lot of people have no idea that a cell phone is a very powerful resource and digs much deeper into our minds and bodies than we can notice at a glance. My belief is that cell phones are a useful, powerful tool that can be very effective if used in moderation, but if not it could wind up doing more harm than good. It is easier for someone who grew up in a previous generation to notice the real effects of cell phones on society. Almost all kids today have grown up around this technology and many are using it at younger ages. Cell phones appear to have replaced the need for everyday items such as alarm clocks, calendars, and watches. They also have taken place of our memory in several instances. Many people, including myself, no longer find it necessary to memorize phone numbers since they can quickly be obtained by scrolling through our cell phone, which is sure to be with us. Important upcoming dates can be programmed into our phones, complete with a reminder that will ensure we don’t miss an event.
