When comparing Thailand and the United States of America, there are many differences. For example, the way each country is located on the globe. Thailand is located below and closer to the equator than the U.S., where it is above the equator and a little farther from it. On the other hand, both countries have a lot of beautiful places and are surrounded by body of oceans. Lots of people like to visit these two countries; however, most people in Thailand want to move to the U.S. for jobs and better lives. Most people in the U.S. like to visit Thailand for good food and warm weather. Although, not all differences are bad, there are some major differences that make living in one country better than the other. Those include lifestyle, education,

Personally, I wouldn't want to live in Thailand. According to the Editorial Board, the government has been “aggressively” attempting to shape the minds of young Thais and their perceptions of the public. The Thais Education Ministry has been instructing the students to write their behaviors and attitudes in a merit passport. I would not like this circumstance because I don't like sharing my thoughts or reasoning behind the things I say with anyone.

When people think of Thailand they think about the amazing and exotic foods along with the amazing tourist points. People get too distracted by these things which causes them to miss out on the actual culture and lifestyle of Thailand. Thailand is a highly religious country, an amazing 95 percent of the Thai people are Theravada Buddhist. The culture is also deeply family oriented and has one of the most interesting languages today. The main languages spoken in Thailand are Thai, Central Thai, and Siamese. Roughly half of the words in these three main languages are taken from other languages such as Pali, Sanskrit, and Old Khmer. A distinct difference between Thailand and the United States would be its education system, as it is set up in a different way. Education plays an important role in how the people from Thailand communicate with each other, this is due to educational barriers such as location and economic issues. The culture of thailand combined with all the different languages they use cause issues when it comes to education, it is difficult to teach the students when they all speak a different variation of the same language. These communicational difficulties lead to an inefficient educational system. The education system of Thailand needs to be modified in a way that students from all over Thailand have an equal chance of growing both as students and individuals.

Thailand is the only Southeast Asian country that was never colonized by a European country. In fact, in the Thai language, the name of the country is Prathet Thai which means “land of the free.” The country of Thailand is one that is heavily visited by tourists from all around the world. What makes so attractive to tourists is that it’s a country so rich with history and traditions, one with such original foods that make your mouth water from just the thought, and it has such a diverse range of music that leaves your ears ringing with the noises of the people. “There are about 35,000 temples in Thailand.” Visiting them requires modest clothing, meaning no shorts or sleeveless shirts (Swattnani, 1).

Genetic endowment and special abilities individual personalities come from learning experiences of individual’s genetics. Individuals learn by observing things and acknowledging the roles of behavior, thoughts and images. This means individual learned things by physical appearance. Some people have special abilities in writing, music and art because they were born with those abilities. Then you have some individuals who have to learn how to draw, read music and write. The more their innate genetic abilities are, likely they will respond to learning and teaching (Lifestyle and career Development).

The country that is currently known as Thailand, was not always that. Originally Thailand went by the name of Siam. The original people that inhabited Thailand were the Khmer and Mons. The Khmer and Mons were the only inhabitants of the country until people traveled from southern China into Siam. These people went by the name “Tai”. For twenty thousand years, the area that makes up Thailand by hunter and gathers to survive until they began to create settlements. One interesting fact about Thailand that most individuals are unaware of is that Thailand was never colonized unlike the many countries around them. There is some research out the that implies that because Thailand was never colonized, it has had an advantage in their economy. Unlike the many countries like Burma, Singapore or Cambodia that are located around Thailand, it did not have to answer to a mother country. They were not involved in a mercantilism style economy. I believe that this instance of free trade drastically changed the game for Thailand. They surpassed all of the countries surrounding them because they could trade with everyone they wanted to.

Thailand has many different family forms that have gone through several changes over time. In the past, Thailand consisted of mainly extended families since that was the tradition. Nevertheless, through modernization the amount of extended families started decreasing and more nuclear families started forming. Current day

The development of children has been a focus of the higher education field since the creation of the field. When taking responsibility for educating the future generations, those leading the field must seek to have a mastery of all knowledge in regards to development of children to present the best education possible. One of the aspects of development influencers that has become increasingly important to recognize and learn about in the last decade are sociocultural environments. It is widely recognized by professionals that the socio-cultural context plays a dramatic role in the development of children throughout their lives. Both positive and negative influencing factors contribute to the development of the child. The vast majority of a child’s socio-cultural context have potential a negative impact on the child, however if there is support from caring individuals in the child’s life, there is a chance that child can rise above the negative influences and develop into a well-adjusted adult.

Because children share 50% of their genes with each of their parents, this then becomes an interesting area of research because they could compare monozygotic twins who share 100 percent of their genes. This is good because they both obtained 50% of their parents ' genes plus they are identical twins so this gives a great window to research. In

Thailand is a constitutional kingdom operating on systems of the Monarchy with the King who has ruled from the early years of 1946. This has earned him a title of the longest serving head of state across the world. In this nation, the King is charged with the responsibilities of the head of state. This is the 50th largest country across the world in respect to the total geographical area and has been rated the world's 21st most popular nation. Thailand has recorded approximately three million immigrants and has attracted a significant percentage of expatriates from developed nations (Wattanawisitporn, 2009). Low basic standard education; People need archive a certain level of education to be able to have a decent career. Thai children have not received basic quality education. Thailand is a wonderful country with some beautiful beaches, an amazing climate and a very laid back approach to life. All very appealing to the foreigner just off the plane from their stressful lifestyles back in Europe or the USA.
