Civil War Dbq

Satisfactory Essays

The Civil War marked a turning point in American history in regards to race relations and states’ rights by enacting laws that gave African Americans their freedom from slavery and bringing about new amendments such as the 14th amendment, which introduced citizenship for African Americans.
