Abstract
In this brief, data tables will be analyzed because it can be critical to the accounting cycle. With accurate data that is informing, Kudler Fine Foods ought to be able to make more practical business decisions. With Kudler Fine Foods using data table to order, keep inventory, and to process their products, they can become more successful and on top of the food industry. As a company, Kudler needs to evaluate their design elements of the data tables that are needed for review from an accounting perspective. An entity relationship program would need to be developed showing the past data tables. A recommendation would need to be met for improvements or

Recommendations A recommendation that would be beneficial for Kudler is to provide online ordering. This will allow customers to check out Kudler's website, and this can be a way that Kudler can track how many people view their website daily. This will also allow Kudler to follow the areas such as zip codes to do mailouts, this would advertise their company and their products. Another recommendation that needs to be made is to have one set of GL codes for all three locations. They should have one inventory report that shows all of their products whether it is at another location. This will make it easier for management to follow the inventory lists and to pay more attention to the products that are being sold quicker than others. This will save time having to pull inventory reports for each location and to see what they sold. Since Kudler orders their products from around the world, I think it would be a good idea to have an international GL code for those items that are purchased in different parts of the world. This will also let the customer know where the item that they're purchasing originated. This will make Kudler unique by giving other countries recognition to products that are produced in their parts of the world. According to Microsoft, if you are required to use the exact group of records repetitively, for example, when operators are paging in a grid, it can be competent to fill up those records into a dataset
Answer 2- If there should be a single location for all three companies the inventory holding cost will reduce because the product is placing at one location instead of different three locations. Moreover, by doing this the insurance and misplacing of product of cost reduce but in transit of inventory will increase because the shipments are truck load and the distance between customers and distribution centre is far. Furthermore, with this the service level improved which means order fulfilment process improved too. In addition to this, the
The first artefact for my portfolio is Assignment 2 in Mdde 602, titled: Analyzing Quantitative Data. Part two of this assignment included an Excel spreadsheet which displayed the data. This assignment consisted of an Excel data spreadsheet containing multiple sets of data to perform the statistical analysis. The second component consisted of creating a response document on Microsoft Word in order to record the written answers to the assignment problem. The solution to each problem was only possible to solve after performing the data analysis in the Excel sheet first. The most challenging and exciting part of this assignment was explaining the concept to a person who had no understating of statistics and breaking down the material to be easily comprehensible.

Kudler Fine foods would like to enhance the clients shopping experience by developing a system in order to track the customer purchases which will be known as a Frequent Shopper Program. This will award loyalty points in order for the customer to have an opportunity to redeem these points for goods services. “Kudler Fine Foods is a Local upscale specialty food store committed to providing customers with the finest selection of specialty foods and wine.” Apollo Group Inc. (2010) this will keep track of the customers purchase habits in order to assist Kudler to offer their customers and valued
The Kudler Fine Foods is one the best stores around. They have come a long way in such a short period of time. They, however have out grown their old network infrastructure and they are in in dire need of an enterprise wide upgrade to their stores as they will start to lose money if this does not happen very soon.. The strategic goals of the enterprise network are to introduce new technologies in data collection, company communication, and information protection while providing the best data speeds and network access and use friendly access. This is very important because if this is done correctly, this will increase revenue
Using benchmarked data, Kudler Fine Foods can "reduce costs of ordering foods and minimize the amount of food to be stored, while also having a zero stock out policy [and develop] a supplier relations program " (Apollo Group 2, 2005) These initiatives will reduce Kudler Fine Foods ' internal costs which can be passed on to the consumers.
Kudler is planning to have an annual revenue increase by 5% within 12 months breaking it down to four categories. A quarter percent gain is anticipated in the projects launch as well as the training of employees’. Profits will increase by a half of a percent during the assessment and alteration of the project with the promotion of the Frequent Shopper Program taking place at this time as well. In each phase of the development customer satisfaction will increase so will revenue, which will lead to an overall increase of 4.75% (Kudler Fine Foods. (2004). Apollo.).
The management team of Kudler fine Foods uses the intranet to keep demographic data on each of its customers. They can access their names, addresses and important data for special mailings. The inventory is managed and the availability of ingredients can be determined. The items from a store can be obtained from what has been purchased. An order table can be used to record pertinent information. The order line can be seen to show the description, quantity and price. The store table is used to retain data for each store. The supplies table contains data information from tax table is used to provide accurate taxes. The tender table is used to provide a record of payment for an order.
That is not all. Each Kudler store is equipped with its own standalone network that keeps its own record of inventory and ordering. The three stores are currently equipped with network that works as standalone units but needs exists to bring them all together in a centralized manner so inventory records can be streamlined and more cost effective measures can be adopted. The company is also planning to invest in and ERP system which stands for Enterprise Resource Planning system. This would
Kudler Fines Foods founded in 1998 and is growing rapidly. When they open their first store, Microsoft Access was selected as the database to track inventory, orders, and customers. The products, they sold are perishable and inventory must be properly tracked. Kudler excessive inventory is always a concern. This paper will evaluate database tables from accounting perspective, provide recommendation for improvement and create pivot table to help Kudler's management to improve decision making process.
Kudler Fine Foods (KFF) is a specialty food company that is base in California and has stores located in Encinitas, Del Mar, and La Jolla, its main store. At the stores customers can purchase fine foods such as produce, meat, and other specialty items that they provide. Kudler Fine Foods is considered one of the best fine food stores around. However, Kudler is in serious need of a network infrastructure upgrade of their old one. With the introduction of technology advancements in data collection items such as; network access and increased speeds while still providing information protection; and company communication; are the primary goals of the enterprise network. This step is important because it will increase the income and will reduce the cost of operations within the KFF stores. Kudler Fine Foods will go back up to technological speed as the network upgrade is completed, while at the same time improving the way they keep track of inventory and sales by using data mining techniques, which will be collected and analyzed in real time.
When Kudler opened its first store back in 1998, Microsoft Access was chosen as the database platform used to track inventory, orders and customers. While this initially proved to be an adequate solution, it has since outgrown its usefulness. Now with three stores and a fourth due to open soon, a new database management system must be put into place.
In order to provide the Australia Park Victoria with the appropriate data to solve its current crisis, the most appropriate method of data collection for this research is the qualitative method. According to Gay and Airasian (p 627) qualitative method is the collection of extensive data on various variables over a long time in a natural setting with an aim of acquiring insights not possible using other methods. It involves three different kinds of information collection: direct observation, in depth and open-ended interviews and written documents. Qualitative method involves use of random sampling and structured data collection instruments that fit different experiences. The method also enables the researcher to study the specific area of
The behavior was observed from a large sample of people. This included twenty people shopping alone and twenty people shopping in a group, for a total of forty subjects, each ranging in ages from approximately 19 to 40 years old. The subjects were observed from the time they entered the store until the time they left. The reasoning behind this was to see the buying behavior differences for the whole experience and figure out which areas of the store could be improved in order to appeal to groups of people shopping. The behaviors observed included the amount of time spent inside the store, the amount of money spent, the interactions with associates, and the areas of the stores that were navigated.
The objective of this chapter is to describe the procedures used in the analysis of the data and present the main findings. It also presents the different tests performed to help choose the appropriate model for the study. The chapter concludes by providing thorough statistical interpretation of the findings.
