In-N-Out Burger Essay

I learned about the Chick-fil-A Franchise Opportunity through my own personal research. I began to research an opportunity with Chick-fil-A when I purchased my home in Elgin and found myself driving to Austin to enjoy Chick-fil-A with my children every Saturday.

Chick-fil-A is known to be closed on Sundays. That is a policy that they have started with and are continuing to pursue. No matter the back lash they have gotten for it, they have stood behind their beliefs.

After walking out the doors of my job at Wendy’s for the last time, I wondered what else besides the money and free food did I actually gain. I did gain weight and I did gain experience for my resume but what other positive attributes did my first job at Wendy’s give me? So, as I sat down and pondered, I realized that I enjoyed working at Wendy’s because I learned time management, gained more ambition and became more mature.

Unlimited, endless, fast food choices, and yet there are two that stand out above the rest. McDonald’s and Burger King are the two biggest burger fast food chains in the world. So let me ask you this, who has a better menu? Who’s Cheaper? And which one is healthier? This debate will once and for all come to an end, once all of these points have been met throughout my paper. McDonald’s vs. Burger King has been a long running argument. You will finally come to realize that McDonald’s is the better choice for you.

Chicken! Chicken! Chicken! Southerners are crazy about it! Chicken is an iconic meal, from grandma 's kitchen to fast food restaurants. Sometimes grandma 's home cooked chicken is not always readily available, so what is the next best option? This is my review of two very popular fast food chains, the main item on each menu is none other than chicken. These two restaurants go by the name Chick-fil-A and Zaxby 's. Chick-fil-A has a bit of an interesting story, with the franchise being very comfortable with the Christian faith. Because of this, all locations are closed on Sundays and holidays. Information from their website shows that Chick-fil-A cares for its community and is involved in several fundraisers for churches and schools. Zaxby 's observes normal hours and does not really take part in community events. I visited the Chick-fil-A over on Harris Lane in Bessemer, Alabama at around noon. This Chick-fil-A just opened a few years back and has been very popular since. On a different occasion, I visited the Zaxby 's just a few miles down the road from Chick-fil- A, located on Academy Drive. The website describes Zaxby 's as a “chain eatery serving up fried chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches, and other American comfort eats”. These two competitors offer very similar menu options, but completely different environments. Although Chick-fil-A has better customer service, Zaxby 's has tastier food and an overall better ambiance.

The first drive-though hamburger stand opened in 1948 in California, and was known for its fresh ingredients, and the 100% beef patties was the In-N-Out. Undoubtedly, In-N-Out is one of the most popular and appealing fast-food, chain restaurants in the west coast, and considered as a must-eat food for visitors. Also, it is very recognizable by its big sign of a yellow arrow on a red In-N-Out background when people drive on the road. In-N-Out used to only have locations spread across California, but now they have locations across the states including Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Utah.

The fast-food industry is changing everyday. There are new products being introduced in the market and new slogans being created. The companies in the fast-food industry will do their best to make the greater burger, and to make bigger and better fries.

The menu of In-N-Out Burger has 3 types of burger, which are hamburger, cheeseburger, and- “Double-Double” (double meat/double cheese). The company also provide french fries, fountain drinks and three different flavors of milkshakes. If people really know about the menu of In-N-Out, the company offers additional named items not on the menu. These products are available at every In-N-Out store. They have called these products are secret menu. These variable products include 3×3, 4×4, Neopolitan shakes, grilled cheese sandwich, Protein style, and Animal Style. 3×3 has three patties and three slices of cheese. 4×4 is four patties and four slices of cheese. Next, grilled cheese sandwich has same element as the burgers, but its difference is on the meat, plus two slices of melted cheese. Protein style has one different ingredient with lettuce with the burgers. It uses lettuce as a bun of burger. An Animal Style includes the two slices of melted cheese, spread, and grilled onions on top. Animal style burgers are cooked in a thin layer of mustard. It does not only have lettuce and tomato but also pickles, grilled onions, and extra spread (SCHOULTZ, M. 2013).

People love to drink coffee. Coffee shops, independently owned or chains are every corner. Statistics show that people are taking more coffee every day. It is a very profitable business.

McDonaldization is the idea that our society is becoming more efficient and more fast paced. Rational systems can be defined as “unreasonable, dehumanizing systems that deny the humanity, the human reason, of the people who work within them or are served by them”.1 Today there are many types of businesses that are increasingly adapting the same values and principles of the fast-food industry to their needs. Do you need some place to go eat after church or just to hang out with friends? Golden Corral is the kind of place you can go to hang out with your friends and chill. The restaurant usually gets so busy on weekends that you will not have a space to park your car. If you want, you are welcome to park in the back, but it is a long walk to the entrance. The food is worth the walk, and many people do not mind because they love bringing their families to this restaurant on weekends. It is one of the best buffets in Omaha. They offer not only great service, but a fun atmosphere for eating with friends or family, and at a reasonable price.
