When a business chose to use, the changing inventory levels this leads to a change in human resources, a possibility of changes in the production levels. There are many reasons why a company should not use the changing inventory level for example, when there is a shortage that may cause the business sale to lower. An example of a changing inventory level company is Procter and Gamble these company utilize the changing inventory levels.
Varying workforce size by hiring or layoff help companies eliminate costs. Using this method also allow businesses to use when the use of new employees is needed. An example is retail stores a business that hire people during the holiday season to help with the increase in customers. An example of this is during the winter time when it is cold most people will want soup, which will allow the companies that make soup revenue to be higher during this season. During the summer time, normally the sales for ice cream and ice will tend to be higher.
Subcontracting allows a company to get more business finished by allowing other businesses to contract with them. A perfect example of a company that uses subcontracting is construction companies. Construction companies contract with other business to build thing for other companies. For example, when a store or business is build; a contractor is use to build the business.
Using part-time workers can help a business fill the employee needs for workers. A perfect example of this is when a restaurant, retail store, or supermarket need extra help. When a business does not have the revenue to hire a full-time worker so they will hire a part time worker to help full fill the company
