Quantitative, qualitative, cognitive and technical research methods were used. To organise gathered information as clearly as possible, a pragmatic research methodology was employed.

The contents of this chapter contains the research methodology of the project. As such, within this chapter the outline of the research strategy, the research method, the research approach, the data collection methods, sample selection, the form of data analysis, any ethical considerations and the research limitations are discussed.

Both qualitative and quantitative data analysis approaches will be used in this research. Quantitative data analysis will be used to analyze the numerical data whereas qualitative data analysis will be used to analyze trends and relationships between the data and views of the participants obtained from the interviews and the questionnaires.

The research designed used in this article is the descriptive research design. The study involves the examination of variables of interest and conducting trend analysis.

This chapter of the research intends to provide basic understanding of the adopted research design, methods and approaches for the collection and interpretation of data (Kumar & Phrommathed, 2005). The methodology does not only offers the fundamentals of adopted research methods, but also intends to present the rationale for the selected research i.e. specific research methods and techniques. The study is an exploratory research. The research is based purely on secondary data collected from reports published by various research institutes.

Since descriptive method is a fact finding study with adequate and accurate interpretation of findings that describes what actually exists in current conditions. Consequently, descriptive method of research is best suited in attaining the purpose of this study because this research involved a description, recording, analysis and interpretation of what actually existed in current conditions.
