Comedy can be defined as a style or genre that consist of jokes or irrelevant acts which sole purple is to make people laugh. Some well know comedians today such as Kevin Hart, Sarah Silverman, and Dave Chappelle has very well taken the genre to heights beyond expression. These famous comedians probably would have as successful if it was not for playwright and actor Jean-Baptiste Poquelin also known by his stage name Moliere. Moliere could possibly be classified as one of the first comedians during his time period. Moliere could claim this time due to the producing of Tartuffe which was one of his famous theatrical comedies. This play was presented at the Les Plaisirs de lile May 12, 1664. Despite being banned and heavily criticized Tartuffe went on to being one of the classics of comedy and set the stage for many of plays, acts, and satires of its genres. Furthermore, comedy and the contents whether it is drama, tragedy, or just a classic sitcom will always be criticized. The play received a lot of reviews because of unforeseen contents which is …show more content…
The categories used to organize research were the questioning, data design, data collection, and data analyzing method. These methods all oblige one another to help express and develop the knowledge of this analysis. The question method is used towards the content o f research and whether or not the purpose of the research is clear. The data design and data collection methods assist with the structure and information process of the research. The previous two methods guide the data analysis method which breaks down the exploration of the research for this paper. These established methods serves as a n effective advantage in forming research no matter the case, argument, or
The order in which this thesis is organized is presented in this section. This thesis is divided into five main section: the first chapter as the Introduction; the second chapter as the Literature review; the third chapter as the Research Methodology; the fourth chapter as the Data Analysis and Recommendation; the fifth and last part as the Conclusion – all together amounting to five
In order to complete the study, research questions were developed with specific variables in order to determine the results
Quantitative, qualitative, cognitive and technical research methods were used. To organise gathered information as clearly as possible, a pragmatic research methodology was employed.
The contents of this chapter contains the research methodology of the project. As such, within this chapter the outline of the research strategy, the research method, the research approach, the data collection methods, sample selection, the form of data analysis, any ethical considerations and the research limitations are discussed.
Both qualitative and quantitative data analysis approaches will be used in this research. Quantitative data analysis will be used to analyze the numerical data whereas qualitative data analysis will be used to analyze trends and relationships between the data and views of the participants obtained from the interviews and the questionnaires.
The research designed used in this article is the descriptive research design. The study involves the examination of variables of interest and conducting trend analysis.
Research methodology is a way how the research is conducted step by step and in order. There are two methods used for data collection which is the primary data and secondary data. These data can be obtained and used many ways. The data is taken and analyzed in advance to produce a result that we can use for research and future reference. This study will relate to the objective we want to achieve and finding the answer to every objective we seek. In order to successfully achieve the objectives we seek, we must know
The aims and objective of this research is clearly stated in this chapter. The scope of study of this research was significantly mention and the limitation in carrying out this research is clarified. The details on research methodology will be discussed in chapter 3 while literature review for this research will be discussed on the following chapter.
The study will adopt a mixed approach. This involves the use of both qualitative (interview) and quantitative (questionnaire) methods. Quantitative method also known as descriptive survey was adopted as one of the research method to describe the respondent
Comedy is a literary genre and type of dramatic work that is satirical in its tone. The
This paper will be organized into various sections such as problem statement, purpose of the study, Research questions, and Research method. The research paper will also, try to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the research method and design used. Moreover, the paper will endeavor to justify why the chosen method and design is most appropriate for the research questions. Finally, the paper will discuss why alternative methods/designs would be less desirable for your study.
This chapter of the research intends to provide basic understanding of the adopted research design, methods and approaches for the collection and interpretation of data (Kumar & Phrommathed, 2005). The methodology does not only offers the fundamentals of adopted research methods, but also intends to present the rationale for the selected research i.e. specific research methods and techniques. In addition, it provides a description of the research instruments through which the relevant information was collected and gathered in the research study.
Chapter 3 discuss about the introductory overview of research methodology. It includes the research design, sampling and location, variable measurement, data collection and data analysis method.
The study is an exploratory research. The research is based purely on secondary data collected from reports published by various research institutes.
The descriptive method of research is used in this study. Since descriptive method is a fact finding study with adequate and accurate interpretation of findings that describes what actually exists in current conditions. Consequently, descriptive method of research is best suited in attaining the purpose of this study because this research involved a description, recording, analysis and interpretation of what actually existed in current conditions.
