Ever since Publix first opened, the founder George Washington Jenkins Jr., believed that if a CEO takes care of their employees then they will take care of the business. Jenkins made sure to create an above satisfactory work environment where his employees would not only be happy to come to work everyday but would also be motivated.

Their Culinary school was founded in 1999 in Tuscany, Italy. Where they train their chefs and create menus for the restaurant. With a remarkable wine selection and great home cook Italian meal and a affordable menu price I have always enjoyed my stay at the Olive Garden. It all started with a man by the name of George McKerrow Jr, who had a passion for delicious steaks. Luckily he had a snowstorm hit his hometown in Atlanta, Georgia that brought stranded motorist into the only hospitable place available- a restaurant called LongHorn Steaks Restaurant & Saloon. The tales of the expertly grilled steak was spread like a wildfire throughout the towns. This was the beginning of a new chain restaurant called LongHorn Steakhouse, which is known for their Flo’s Filet and the Bone-In Outlaw, fall of the bone ribs, and hand cut salmon. In later years, LongHorn eventually joined Darden Restaurants with Olive Garden and Red Lobster. With a location in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, it is one of many steakhouses that you can choose from. It is a well-organized restaurant that has been serving steak, chicken, and fish for 30 years where the meat is never frozen. In addition to that, it is the only steakhouse that catches the eyes of the customer, usually from the dark red lights that light up during the night. The restaurant is opened Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Friday to Saturday 11:00 to 11:00 PM.

Chili’s originated with wanting to become a place for people to hang out with good company over some food and a drink or two. This restaurant is about creating a connection with family and friends that integrate over the love of food. The first location was opened in Dallas, Texas in 1975. It was first a post office before it became a little hangout place named Chili’s. The company was founded by Larry Lavine which is now taken over by Brinker Incorporated. Larry’s idea of Chili’s was going to be a laidback place where people can have fun and hangout. He wanted a menu that was affordable to people and wanted to create American food using a Texan-Mexican themed menu. In 1983, Larry was smart to sell the company to Brinker Incorporated.

I would like to give recognition to David Wilson for what he has accomplished in Cedar Hill. His restaurant, David’s Seafood Grill, has been and still is a great place to dine at with a variety of good food in his menu. The atmosphere is very comfortable and extremely family friendly. It is not only a fine place to dine at, but a great place to meet new people and make friends. Because of David, his staff and the restaurant, Bonnie and I have met a lot of good people and become close friends with many of them. We took our families to David’s to eat, have fun and create new memories. I have family who have searched for a David-like restaurant in their city, but to their disappointment they could not find one that come close to what David’s

In 1995, Outback Steakhouse was proclaimed as one of the most successful restaurant chains in the United States. The chain was started by Chris Sullivan, Bob Basham, and Tim Gannon during the 1980s. Prior to starting the Outback Steakhouse chain, Sullivan and Basham were successful franchisees of the Chili’s Restaurant chain. About the same time Gannon played a significant role in several New Orleans restaurant chains. Outback Steakhouse, formerly known as Multi-Venture Partners, was founded in 1987 after Sullivan and Basham sold their Chili’s franchise to fund their venture and they invited Gannon to join.
