Webservers are similar to PC’s however they have faster processors and more memory making it much more powerful.

Server: This is a computer that is designed to carry out specific functions at the request of other computers they’re connected to a network and direct the information stored on the network to clients, for example a web server will run software that receives requests from clients and then processes the request and delivers an output using HTML.

There is also the cross platform support, this means having the ability to access and use the application no matter what type of web browser or OS you are using, this means complete cross platform support from using Linux, Windows and even MacOS. Even browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer and the less common ones such as Netscape, Opera and Safari will be able to utilize the application web
