Once all project tasks are complete and approved, you will finally be ready to close the project” (1). When initiating a project, you first have to gather ideas. During this time, the project team members have to meet with the project owner and gather their ideas, goals, and other details that can help the team plan proficiently. In the planning stage, schedules and tasks will be assigned to the team. Using a project-planning program such as Microsoft Project or Basecamp is extremely helpful when planning a project (Stricker, 2013). After the planning stage, follows the execution stage. This is where all team members put the projected plan to work. According to Stricker (2013), “You'll want to officially kick-off the execution stage with in-person meetings to ensure everyone has what they need to begin executing their part of the project” (4). It is important to make sure that before all team members start working, that they are all on the same page and they have all the materials needed to complete their tasks. Monitoring and controlling the project is the next step. There are a few ways to check how the project is going. One would be, daily or weekly huddles with the team to bring up any concerns or positive feedbacks. Also, dropping by periodically with the team leaders and see how the project is going. By communicating with the leaders, it will help identify where the issues are coming

This is to ensure that the necessary raw materials and physical resources are available at each stage, and that the workforce on site has the right skills for the scheduled work. The project management team will need to produce a series of planning documents that can be accessed throughout the project. Each member of the project management team must know their role and responsibilities, including which sections of the workforce they will be directly managing.
When all the deliverables, customer requirements and\or goals have been met in a project, in other words, at the closing of a project the Project Manager is responsible for compiling and delivering a Final Project Report, known as a Project Closure Report. A good project closure report will summarize the entire project from the beginning project plan and scope information to the lessons learned from the project. It should also include other information such as the changes to the project scope if there were any, the final project budget reconciliation, and “a recap of the performance metrics taken during the project; the budget and schedule reconciliations will provide the final

Team leadership can be very instrumental in the success of a project to ensure that the project stays on schedule, encouraging use of best practices, planning and scheduling activities, problem solving and helping to facilitate control. Projects are used today as a way of achieving a variety of outcomes in local or international locations for new constructions, new product development, product improvement, process design, process improvement, utility installation, theory and technology development, and many more. Bringing a project to a successful conclusion requires the integration of numerous management functions like controlling, directing, team building, communication and others. It also requires cost and schedule management, technical and risk management, conflict and stakeholder 's management, and life cycle management.
The first step will be to look at the goals of the project, and align them with the mission of the company. Systematically, the project will be broken into phases: Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, Coordinating, Budgeting, Evaluating, and Reporting. Each phase will be further broken down into tasks and placed into a work breakdown structure. From this view, one is able to see the entire project duration, critical path, and milestones. The Planning phase is integral in any project. This phase of the project defines project objectives, mission, goals, and approach. In addition, outlining key elements of the project is critical: performance expectations, risks analysis, and contingency plans. However, after completion
There are a number of major tasks to complete in order to complete the project.
The aim is to complete the project with the traditional sequence, following the stages from the planning stage to the completion stage. Also, more emphasis will be given to human and physical resources, which should make it easier to exploit all constraints associated with the project and making it a priority.
The nature and scope of a project is determined at the initiation stage. This involves analyzing the business needs, developing goals, budgets, tasks, deliverables, and the stakeholder analysis. The project planning stage determines the planning team, develops the scope, and identifies work breakdown structure and activities that will be needed to complete deliverables. The planning stage also estimates time and cost activities, develop schedule and risk plan, and gain formal approval for work to begin. The executing stage involves all processes used to meet the project requirement and involves managing people and resources. The process that entails the identification of potential problems and
