Students learn best through hands on evolvement. An effective teacher will have her students actively engage in station, centers and projects. An effective teacher makes her students feel like they belong and are disciplined fairly. It is important to welcome the diversity of all students. It is important to assess students in an appropriate manner. This creates a positive learning environment for the students. I am a responsible, dependable, caring and energetic teacher who will be an asset to your school

An effective teacher is someone who increases the understanding of a pupil. Effective teaching is the ability of providing instructions to students of varying abilities while incorporating instructional objectives and assessing the effective education form of students. In the evaluation of performance, efficiency on the lesson plan and technique of delivery forms form part of the criteria taken into consideration. The teacher's practices that ensure the higher level of assessment and active participation are most successful. This outdo all the factors, such as size of the class, socioeconomic conditions and gender (Sullivan 2001). The most significant aspect that gears a student to perform well is the teachers details of classroom practices as demonstrated in one of the video links "Pre-primary: Science -> Mini Beasts". They must have sufficient familiarity with the techniques and methods associated with their career and must certify that the pupil learning must develop over the course of the year (Sullivan 2001).

Marzano claims that using classroom assessments as a means to enhance student achievement is too frequently overlooked. The teacher should also be a caring and nurturing person. For examples, teachers should let the students know that he or she believes in them. Children need to be encouraged to do their best. Also, different students have different needs. In order to be effective, teachers must be able to adapt to these needs and changes quickly and allow differentiation no matter race or nationality. Even with the teacher serving as a caring initiator, the students should not run the classroom. Some type of management strategies must be in place to maintain order in the classroom. The teacher should be the head of the classroom with consistent rules. He or she should be an authority

The ability to inspire is important because student is looking up to teachers as a way of guidance. They want to be able to trust that the information that the teacher is teaching will help develop their knowledge. The teachers have the ability to help mold students into what their want to be in life. Encouragement is also needed for students in order to motivate them. The teacher must learn how to understand the students in a way where they will be able to motivate them. Both inspiration and motivation will impact the student to achieving the best. Another characteristics of effective teaching are caring for the student. All students want to experience the feeling that their teacher cares about them. Caring will give a positive response to students. Caring shows that the teacher cares about whether the students understand the material. Caring will show understanding between teachers and students. It will allow room for bonding between teacher and student. Caring will show teachers dedication towards the students’ achievements. Caring will help a student to remain positive in schoolwork. A teacher caring will affect students’ performance in school. Caring is a key part of teaching.

When thinking of being an effective teacher who understands his or her students, it is very important for the teachers to understand themselves first. It is important for a teacher to understand the way that he or she learns because it gives them more knowledge and understanding of given situations. If a teacher wants the entire classroom to do well, it is important to remember what Kubiszyn & Borich (2016) state, “In other words, just as there is no one size fits all tool, no single test is appropriate for all purposes and all persons (p. 2). This quote helps readers understand that there are many factors that should be accounted for when assessing students.

It is said that effective teacher will use both assessment and evaluation regularly to improve student learning and to guide instruction. Indeed, both have pivotal roles in the teaching-learning process yet, somehow they do differ in many ways. Assessment and evaluation measure whether or not learning and/or learning objectives are being met. One could look at assessment and evaluation as the journey (assessment) versus the snapshot (evaluation). (Sue Watson, 2009) Assessment requires the gathering of evidence of student performance over a period of time to measure learning and understanding. Evidence of learning could take the form of dialogue, journals, written work, portfolios, and tests along with many other learning
