INTRODUCTION: This case involved Sultana Sultan being a danger to herself and others. Sultan was transported by Pasadena RA 33 to the Huntington Memorial Hospital Emergency Room (HMH), where she was placed on a WIC 5150 hold. INVESTIGATION: On 12-05-17 at approximately 1017 hours, I responded to 442 N. Los Robles Avenue regarding a psychological evaluation. PPD Dispatch advised that a female, White was yelling incoherently at the above location. Officer Gawlik #3116, Officer Herrera #3595 and Officer Killgore #7231 were on scene prior to my arrival. Upon my arrival, I spoke with Sultan at the above location and she told me the following information: Sultan advised that she has been diagnosed with being Bipolar and has not been taking
On 08/20/2017 at 1002 hours FTO Wheeler #4361 and I responded to St. Luke’s Hospital emergency room entrance, on 3555 Cesar Chavez St., regarding a women in a hospital gown trying to break the caller’s vehicle window with a brick. Officer Wheeler and I were in full police uniform driving a marked patrol unit when we responded.
On 06/16/2018 at about 2345 hours, Officer Deltoro (P#2509) and I were dispatched to 4812 Crystal Sword Street in reference to a 911 disconnect. While en route North Las Vegas Dispatch advised a male and female could be heard in the background yelling.
On Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at about 2157 hours while present at group 31, I received the audio interview of PO Albert Robles conducted by Capt. Daniel Mahony, Sgt. Russo & Sgt. Deonarinesingh, Queens South investigation. PO Healy 102nd Precinct PBA delegate was also present. PO Robles stated the following;
On 03-14-16 at approximately 1354 hours, Officer Saunders #7720 and I were dispatched to 1157 N Fair Oaks Avenue for a criminal threats investigation. Officer Torres #8500 also responded to assist with translating Victim Parra’s statement. Dispatch advised that Parra only speaks Spanish.
On February 21st, 2017 at approximately 1550 hours, my partner Officer Presley #2100 and I responded to 598 Dolores St., in a marked patrol vehicle in full uniform, regarding a possible dog attack and fight in progress.
On April 18, 2017 at approximately 15:00am I, Investigator James Poffel was contacted by Officer Donnie Cox in reference to a sexual assault report that he was dispatched to at 1000 S 32nd St Apartment #220. Once on the scene, Officer Cox made contact with the victim, Mylania Billings.
Whilew on patrol I was dispatched room # 1F340, Upon arrival, I met with Hackett who stated that Veteran Susan Buggell had been sexual assault. Buggell was located in room #1F337, where I made contacted with her. Buggell stated that between 0300hrs, and 0400hrs, while at a 1211 old FM 440RD Apt #1-202 Killeen TX, 76549 she was sexually assaulted be a friend, who she identified as Anthony Williams. I asked the Buggell if she had taken a shower and she stated “no”. “I did change my clothes.” I then asked were her closed were at and she stated at her home. I asked her where she lived and she stated “810 Gary LP. Killeen, TX
Leslie TAPIA could be heard walking upstairs where she proceeded from the second floor to the third floor where her bedroom is located. Officers checked the bedroom door for damage but none was observed. I made contact with Adult Probation to advise them of Leslie TAPIA'S actions and the report from BAKER of Leslie TAPIA possessing/using drugs. The on call female probation officer said she would contact her boss to see what they could do. APO returned a call advising that they would respond to the home. I advised I would wait on scene for them.
On 12-15-17 at approximately 1113 hours, LA County Clinician Vasquez #433353 and I responded to the above location regarding a mental health evaluation. PPD Dispatch was advised that a female Black, later identified as Grady, was making statements of a suicide plan. Grady was in a therapy session with Reporting Party, Mental Health Therapist Lisette Banuelos, when she made the above statements.
Synopsis: On 08/14/15 at approximately 2146 hours, I, Officer Artaz along with Sergeant Kettle and Officer Braslin responded to 1010 Meeker Street in reference to an out of control female. This location is in the City of Delta, County of Delta and the State of Colorado. The reporting party was identified as Michelle Davenport (DOB 11/24/68) and the M-1 Hold subject was identified as Raquel Tangren (DOB 03/09/92). This case is closed M-1 Hold.
This case involved Deborah Renee Ynzunza being a danger to herself and others. Officer Calcanas #1421 transported Ynzunza to the Huntington Memorial Hospital Emergency Room (HMH), where she was placed on a WIC 5150 hold.
On Thursday, March, 3th 2016 at approximately 2147 hrs while driving a Midland Police vehicle and wearing a standard issued MPD uniform Officer Beltran and Officer Jimenez were dispatched 917 Edward st in reference to a check welfare. MPD dispatch informed Officers that the complainant advised them that her daughter Katrina Mendoza(H/F-DOB02/04/2004) left a voicemail where she could hear the voice of Katrina’s dad threating to hurt Katrina.
This case involved Ramon Sosa being a danger to himself. Sosa was transported to the Huntington Memorial Hospital Emergency Room by Pasadena RA #733, where he was placed on a WIC 5150 hold.
On 3/18/17 at approximately 12:40 Hrs.; I, Ofc R. Marrero #26, of the Okeechobee City Police Department, was dispatched to 1116 SE 11th St. in reference to a suspicious incident. Upon my arrival, I met with Idell Pearce and she informed me that she has been receiving threatening letters from an anonymous person ever since she fired Karen Smith. Mrs. Smith used to be Mrs. Pearce's care taker, but she had to be let go because their constant disagreements.
The Bookseller of Kabul features many characters, one of them being the Sultan. The character of the Sultan is very intriguing because of how he has many contradictory traits. The most opposing set of traits that the Sultan has is his judgmental attitude and liberal mind. The Sultan’s ability to possess both traits is very intriguing because they are vastly different and the Sultan is only one person. Further exploration of how the Sultan expresses these traits will make it clear how the Sultan developed two conflicting traits.
