The Contributing Factors to Being a Good Leader When Involved in Racket Team and Individual Activities
In this essay I will look at what makes a good leader? Different styles of leadership and how you will have to change your leadership styles to suit different activities.
There are a lot of things that you need to become a good leader. For example you have to be:
* A good communicator
* Respected
* Empathetic
* Knowledgeable
* A role model
* A high level performer
* Confident.
Although all of these characteristics are important I think that the most important is respect. I say this because if you have no respect as a leader then people aren't

It should also not be used if the morale of you class is low, because that is the last thing that they wont if they are already feeling down.
The second style is the democratic approach. The democratic style of leadership is when the leader involves the students into the decision making and how the lesson is run. The good points of the democratic style are that it keeps the students involved. If the leader wants to see how the students like things to be done or if the leader wants to see how good the students are at leading. The democratic approach is not good if there is a lot of people in the class or if there is only a short time for the lesson to take place. This is because if the lesson is short then you want to get the lesson going. If you ask for the students input then you wont get started for a while.
The third style of leadership is the Lassez-faire approach. The Lassez-faire approach is not really leading. In this approach the students basically get to do what they want to do. They get little direction from the leader. This is an effective style to use when you are working with very good students (ability), when the students really want to do well for themselves and if you can trust the students. It should not be used if there are people in the class with limited experience, a big group or if there is difficult people
Leadership is a crucial quality in both academic and corporate settings. The leader acts as an anchor of the team. He sets direction, builds an inspiring vision, and monitors the work process. Leadership can be built since young ages, which often started in an academic environment. Every group project demands a leader to help smooth out the activity, which include my ENGL 202D group project. Everyone in the team designates Stefan Horgas to be the team’s leader because he is a part of the Ice Lions club and has a deep knowledge in ice hockey field. Stefan perfectly performs his role as a leader. He not only creates and sends out work documents, but also verifies and answers any club’s related questions. His actions made the team operate efficiently
As a leader a person would need to have a good understanding of the job at hand, able to communicate and to make sure everyone is on one page, to make sure everyone understand their job performance and work assignments and to have good delegation
A leader must be able to lead others, build trust, extend influence beyond the Chain of Command, lead by example, and communicate effectively. The ability to develop creates a positive environment, fosters Espirit de Corps, prepares self, develops others, and are stewards of the profession. Last but not least, effective leadership must achieve results.
Being a leader is an important position to fulfill because not everyone carries leadership qualities. In order to become a good leader, this person must obtain specific qualities which should come to them naturally. However every good leader still needs to work on their qualities to become an even greater leader which may require a long time of work. Being a good leader can be hard because not everyone is going to agree with the decisions being made. Every good leader should have certain qualities that will help them succeed in every situation. A good leader should qualities such as being passionate and motivated in everything they do, to have patience when working with others, and to be fearless.
Lack of comprehension and poor course work will result in a lower grade average. Students may become frustrated and give up easily.
It is extremely important that the Learner / group clearly articulate what the problem / situation is to the class. It is essential that the
This time, I did not have an activity or an exact comment of someone in the class that helps me to understand this importance. Moreover, the whole class helps me to do this,
During the group work in the course it was apparent that a few traits stood out that would help a leader effectively lead the team. First, the leader must understand the project and be able to communicate that to the team members to improve commitment and ensure quality. Second, the team should have common goals as we set forth in our team charter. This provides measurable metrics which will help identify if the team is effective. Third, accountability is a priority from the very beginning. Everyone needs to know their part and the consequences if they are unable to meet the expectations set out by the group. Lastly, the leader must be able to create an environment of open communication to enable team members to give and receive feedback that will enhance the quality of the project.

According to The Balance, leadership is defined as “the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal.” To inspire all 800 students in my class seems merely impossible, but establishing myself as a leader for those on my tennis team made this task seem rather feasible. Leading this girls’ high school team has enabled me to expand my leadership beyond just my high school team and to the entire community. The sport of tennis has not only shaped my life, but it has helped me shape the life of others.
Being surrounded by such a great community, I have learned the qualities of exceptional leadership and have implemented them into my own life. I am the Walden Grove Band secretary, and am a strong member of my church’s youth group. I use the trait of integrity to help guide my decisions and to ensure they are the best for everyone in the group. Not only am I a leader in clubs and organizations, I exhibit leadership qualities while in the classroom, volunteering, and during my extra curricular activities. As Tennis Manager, I take the initative to prepare the equipment for practices and matches, and do many other nessecary tasks to make sure the practices and matches runs smoothly and efficiently. I am responsible for making sure all tennis
For many years, I have been told by teachers, family, and friends that I am a good leader. Until fairly recently, I had never truly thought about what it means to be a good leader and just took it as a compliment. Leadership is an intangible concept which cannot be properly outlined in a dictionary, but one which must be formed and explained only through one’s own philosophies and experiences.
Being a good leader is done by making the correct choices and inspiring people to complete their tasks and work together as a team. In order to be a great leader you need to think outside the box and travel the road that is seldom or never traveled. A great leader will use their inspiration and determination to complete the tasks no matter what hurdles or problems they

I understand being a good or even great leader takes a great amount of hard work and dedication. No matter where I am or what I am doing, I push myself to the limit and do what needs to be done; sometimes even more. I strive to be the best in all I do. I want to become a good leader like my father. I want to be able to handle even the most difficult situations in the most calm and confident manner.
