Gundy Coal proposes the development of an open cut coal mine 6 km east of Scone and 3 km north of Segenhoe. The mine would be produced on the site of Arrowfield Stud (on Gundy Rd and along the Pages River). The mine will also be 17 km north of Aberdeen and 24 km north of Muswellbrook where by the coal would be transported through these towns towards its destination of the Newcastle port to be exported via ship.
