According to Omidyar & Branson (2016), business ethics are called as corporate ethics which is a set of rules that define the right and wrong behaviour. From the research, ethics are a form of applied ethic that can be used to evaluate whether the conduct of the people are considered acceptable and appropriate. Besides, business ethics are the collective values of a business organization that can be used to evaluate whether the behaviour of the collective members of the organization are considered acceptable and appropriate. In the most basic term, a definition for business ethics boils down to knowing the difference between right and wrong and choosing to do what is right.

This is due to the problems that arise from reporting incidents. often the problem is that the misconduct is being comited by someone who is higher up than the person that is withnessing th ebehavior. Therefore, the person feels like if they report they could get in troubvle or be penelised by that person for outing them. The reality is that these problems should be reported but the way companies are set up it is not truly possible. the best idea if a company wants to have thier employes speak up about wrong doings is setting up a silent witness hotline and ofering rewards if the information is valuble. Today’s business world presents numerous ethical issues. In today’s world above board/moral ethics in organizations do not often materialize intuitively. Organization must strive to provide employees with a clear understanding of the overall company vision. This will aid employees in practicing the code of ethics, policies and procedures in the workplace. Companies must be unwavering in continuously delivering the uppermost ethics of provision in which customers, applicants and employees are entitled to under fair business practices. One major core value is to uphold responsible and fair business practices.

The workplace is a microcosm of society as a whole. Therefore, one has to anticipate that one will encounter legal and ethical issues in the workplace, just as one encounters legal and ethical issues in the world in general. Of course, not all of these problems will be significant, while others will be significant. The difficulty for the employee is determining what ethical and legal issues are critical, which ones are less important, and how those interact with a person's own personal ethics. What is interesting is that seemingly insignificant ethical issues can actually have a tremendous impact on the workplace, because they can set the tone for the way that the office functions.
