Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a broad term used to describe a company's efforts to improve society in some way. These efforts can range from donating money to non-profits to implementing environmentally-friendly policies in the workplace. CSR is important for companies, non-profits, and employees alike.

CSR is about how companies manage the business process to produce an overall positive impact on society

Under this task I will explain the ethical issues that business needs to consider in its operating activities and how a business they could improve the ethical of their operations and also I will evaluate the influence of stakeholders exert in one company.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a term used to describe a company’s efforts to improve society in a certain way. These efforts range from donating money to an organization such as a nonprofit organization, to implementing environmentally friendly policies in the workplace. This idea is not required for companies; instead it is something that companies do to improve their communities. The way companies practice CSR is different from company to company, and some companies may not even practice it at all.

They feel every business is responsible to their community and the environment (Ben and Jerrys, 2015). This has allowed people to identify with their brand. It has made customers and employees appreciate them. Overall their efforts have been extremely helpful to many. I think that Ben and Jerrys has done everything thing they can with social responsibility. They have gotten involved in so many ways. I don’t think Ben and Jerrys could change the ways they are involved. I think that they should continue getting involved in all the ways they are currently a part of. Ben and Jerrys aren’t lacking involvement. I suggest that Ben and Jerrys try co-branding with other businesses. This would allow the company to extend their brand with a trusted company. This could increase budgets for marketing and advertising. They could use the extra budget money to their advantage by getting creative with advertisements. The advertisments could inform people more about their company and the one they partnered with. Co-branding would let their company grow and reach out to different customers. Throughout the years Ben and Jerrys have gotten involved not to increase profits, but to build positive relationships with the community (Fallon, 2015). With all of their involvement it has allowed people to be socially aware of the many issues around the globe (Fallon, 2015). Their efforts have also made their customers trust their company. CSR Stands for: The Corporate Social Responsibility means that any company has the responsibility toward the community such as any social organization, more you work on CSR the more you will build trust and sustainable relationship with people.

The company is successful in accomplishing a heightened standard of corporate social responsibility values without being overburdened by the financial necessity from practical completion of such values.

CSR is about how a business takes account of its economic, social and environmental impacts in the way it operates – maximizing the benefits and minimizing the downsides. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the buzz phrase these days. Where previously formal CSR policies have been the domain of governments and multinationals, business people at all levels are becoming aware that they ignore their CSR responsibilities at their peril.

There are now several concepts of CSR and its definition, along with the meaning across corporations. In my opinion, and according with our textbook in page 11. CSR is about a particular set of business and strategies that deal with social issues. In addition, we can clearly perceive that CSRs application along corporations has increase in the past decade due to the several local, and international regulations in order to enforce business to act responsible.

CSR can improve the company’s reputation and branding and this in turn improves the prospects for the company to be more effective to attract new customers and increase market share.
