Family owned and operated: Whataburger began in 1950 when Harmon Dobson opened a tiny burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas. From day one, he believed that valuing his employees would ensure the success of the company. They are still family-owned and operated and everyone who works at Whataburger is considered a Family Member. Family-owned businesses are central to the American economy. Approximately 90 percent of American businesses are family-owned or controlled, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Leaders of family owned and operated businesses have a daunting task in trying to be successful now while positioning their organizations for continued growth. Customers seemingly want things faster and cheaper than ever before. New technologies offer great promises but come with much risk if you are on the bleeding edge. Sometimes in life you just need a dependable place where you know you can sit down and enjoy a decent meal at any hour of the day or night. For this reason, we’re very thankful that 24-hour chain restaurants exist like Whataburger. It can be tricky trying to track down a place to eat at, say, three in the morning. Driving through just about anywhere in America at that hour, the odds of finding anything that’s open are slim to none. You will be glad if you live in a community close to a Whataburger.

For me, the most important thing a company should focus on their website is the “you attitude”. If it is done correctly and clear, the customers will continue to be attracted to visiting the website and using that company. If it is flat out incorrect and not use effectively, the website and company will suffer. If the audience does not feel like their needs are being aided or feel like they are not important to the company, they will simply stop visiting the website and company. The chips and pizza are all gone, but you have to leave and don’t have the mental drive to cook yourself something that will ease your appetite. You are hungry and just want something to hit the spot before you go to bed. But who can possibly get you a hearty meal at 3 in the morning? Maybe a greasy, low quality fast food joint? Golden Corral is probably one of my favorite buffet’s because the food is pretty good and it isn’t really expensive. In the summertime my grandpa took my brother and I there almost once a week. He likes it because he knows a lot of people there, senior citizens get good discounts, and because it isn’t far away.
