Xac/280 Week 1 Reflection Journal

Week 2 has been quite overwhelming. I did not have enough time to do my reading assignments over the weekend. I normally utilize Saturday and Sunday to do my research work and reading. Unfortunately, on Saturday morning, I attended a meeting that took half of the day, when I returned home my husband informed that he had invited our friends over for dinner as they will be leaving for Melbourne the following day. My house was a mess as it hadn't been cleaned the previous weekend when we were away. Thus, my whole Saturday was wasted on doing the trivial aspects of life. I missed church on Sunday so that I can catch up on my work and everything went well thereafter. I managed to complete my tasks. I found that a lot of students were divided when it came answering the forum discussion assignment on what would happen to bond prices if terrorism ended and countries adopted free trade. What's you take on this one?

I liked the questions she asked. Some of them were open ended so she could keep he student interested and involved. She asked the silent student what is his name. She asked a student how old they were and what they did for fun.

Week 4: What an amazing week I have had. My children are on holiday, we have had a lot fun activities to do as a family. Holidays are the only times I get to spend with my children as I work from Monday to Friday. I have also taken some time off work, hence I am not as stressed as I am most of the times. However I tend to manage my stress well by practising. I really appreciate your feedback and the guidance given during this course work.

This week assignment was really fun because it actually addressed some programming. During this week's reading I learned some new programming concepts I did not know and I acquired a better understanding on some others I get used to apply in the practice but I did not known in theory.

This week was not too bad in regards to any of the work I actually needed to do. There are definitely some concepts that I think I need to improve my understanding but I think that I did take away what was available from the texts we were provided.

My phone helps with reminding me to stay on schedule while I have a weekly calendar on my desk that reminds me of everything I have to do during said week. For my classwork, I look at what I have to accomplish in advance so I can adjust my schedule to the amount of work that week. I take the most urgent stuff and make that my priority before estimating how long each assignment will take. Most days, I give myself extra time so I do not feel rushed in completing an assignment. Before beginning my assignments, I read (or in some cases reread) the necessary material. Occasionally, I will research certain topics in order to a more comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the material.

In my opinion, overall impression of our event was very successful. I believe that the achievement of the success was from our group’s hard work and all the volunteers that helped us. I was the Executive Steward of our event and my major job responsibility was to make sure that there are enough china and equipment for the kitchen staff and ensures that all stations and surfaces in the kitchen are clean before and after service. I also assisted Executive Chef (Yue He) and Sous Chef (Emily) whenever they need my help.

In this week’s personal reflection, I noticed that there were all kinds of career struggles, triumphs and determinations within the aspects of the discussion board’s welcome comments. There are some classmates with quit a substantial amount of job experience in the info system fields. I was in awe because some of them have been or are in MIS positions for years and have so much to add to the discussions.

I am quite happy to say that I ended the first week of Semester two 2016 on a really good note. My expectations of the course were met as I have throughly enjoyed the content studied so far, been able to meet some of my fellow classmates and also be able to get a feel of the clinic practise during PODY601 tutorial and, the PCP1 tutorial. There was a huge build up of nerves and excitement during the beginning of the week and that excitement grew as each day was different and I began to become very eager to learn more theory and skills in the coming weeks.

This week’s module was very thought-provoking for me. I found myself constantly thinking about Mr. Canada’s message in his video. I spent a lot of time critically reflecting on one statement that he made. Mr. Canada suggested, issues that were issues years ago, are still issues today. I could not help but wonder, how many aspiring educational leaders have come be for me? How many future leaders sat up late nights typing their hearts out about the “change” that needs to happen? My biggest worry is not that I will not be able to make changes within a system that is deemed broken, but how can I do it by myself? Reading and participating in the group discussions give me hope that there are still people in the fight to make actually changes in

To over view the knowledge we learnt from accounting theory and practice, the main thing I can conclude that is the tendency of accounting will shift away from technical way to people’s behaviour way. By understanding what should do, we should ask why and how we could improve and change it into a better way. This essay aims to explain how the theoretical material that we learn in lectures can be developed under a real practical manner.
