Explanation of Solution
The web designer should be aware of many things when designing their e-commerce page with a shopping cart option on it. They are as follows:
The first thing to concern is about the safety. The webpage should have a clean appearance and should showcase recurring phrases, such as; “free returns” and it should not look unsafe or sketchy.
The second thing the web designers should keep in mind is the accessibility of the site. The shopping cart should be a simple one that is not intimidating because the studies suggest that 60% of customers leave the page without entering into the checkout page as they feel it confused or overwhelmed.
The next thing to consider is the linear nature of the site. Make the checkout process as easy and quick as possible or else it will confuse the guests. The guests may feel like their information is being stolen by the website or their card is going to be swiped multiple times.
The other issue arises when the people does not understand what the form is asking for. The people feels frustrated when the information they need is not clearly labeled and what wrong they did if an error message pops off...

- web standards can mean many different things for many people. For some it could be table-free sites or using valid code. As you build your sites, there are many standards to adhere to in terms of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, DOM. etc and of course use best practices such as valid code and user-friendly interfaces. We'll explore several parts of standards here, but let's first: What constitutes “quality code”? What are the challenges (and solutions) to producing quality code?arrow_forwardneed help to finish the table links URL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML https://hartness.vsc.edu/ https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML https://css-tricks.com/ https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ https://a.singlediv.com/ https://www.fogcam.org/arrow_forwardWebsites not only give us information, but they also inspire designers in their layouts, illustrations, images, typefaces, and colors. Websites are dynamic and fluid, changing with each size device we view them on. Almost every design starts with some research, and one of the best places to do research is on the internet. As a designer you will spend time looking at websites and analyzing what works and what does not work. One thing that you will look at is color. It will most likely be a huge source of inspiration, but before you use color in your designs, you need to be able to correctly identify and describe it. For this discussion, find a website that uses colors that inspire you. Post the link of the site you are using for this exercise and then provide the answers to the following questions: What hues, shades, or tints can you identify? What color model is being used in the website? What color scheme is being used? Are the colors warm or cool? What emotions do the colors make…arrow_forward
- UI Hall of Shame or Fame? From Shauni Deshmukh: “Kayak.com is a website that allows people to search for flights. In my mind, this site stands out from others (Travelocity, Expedia, etc.) because it makes searching for the right flight easier and faster. Kayak aggregates search results from several different sites and therefore the user gets a large amount of information all in one place.” Let’s think about Kayak with respect to all our design principles: - Learnability - Simplicity - Visibility - User control - Error handling - Efficiency - Graphic designarrow_forwardDear teacher; Crowd sourcing: I have to make a Web API application using dapper. Your redesign is just a prototype and it does not need to be functional. This means that you do not need to write any code or make the buttons, links, or other elements interactive. All that is needed is the elements of the user interface correctly distributed on the screen. Deliverables The final deliverable should be one PDF document containing: The goal identification and the identified violations of the Usability Goals and Design Principles (Task 1) Scope definition (Task 2) Sitemap (Task 3) All the files related to the final interface design (examples: urls, png, img, jpeg, jpg, pdf, word, powerpoint). Notice that I only need the visual representations of the interface of each page of the website you decided to build. No working or functional prototypes are required (Tasks 4 and 5)arrow_forward
