Array/File Functions
Write a function named arrayToFile. The function should accept three arguments: the name of a file, a pointer to an int array, and the size of the array. The function should open the specified file in binary mode, write the contents of the array to the file, and then close the file.
Write another function named fileToArray. This function should accept three arguments: the name of a file, a pointer to an int array, and the size of the array. The function should open the specified file in binary mode, read its contents into the array, and then close the file.

- (File creation) Write a C++ program that creates an array containing the integer numbers 60, 40, 80, 90, 120, 150, 130, 160, 170, and 200. Your program should then write the data in the array to a text file. (Alternatively, you can create the file with a text editor.)arrow_forwardFunction ________repositions the file position pointer to a specific location in the filearrow_forwardistream member function__________ repositions the fileposition pointer in a file.arrow_forward

This function should read in data from the file filename and print the information for person_name if it is found in the file. The file filename contains lines, in comma separated format (with a 'csv' extension) For each line, the items in each field are as follows: Field 1 3 4 Name Place of Birth Date of Birth Children For Children: • a person can have 0, 1 or multiple Children Multiple children are semi-colon separated If a person has no children the field contains 'NA' For example, consider the following lines froma .csv file, where Fletcher_Margaret has 3 children, and Baker_Jill has 0 children (field 4 contains the string 'NA') Fletcher Margaret,Sydney,30-09-1921,Green Bob;Green Nancy;William Tom Baker_Jill, Melbourne,08-09-1973, NA Format for Printing If the person_name is found in the file, the format for printing the person information is as…arrow_forward

This DNA test measures the various parts of the sequence and assigns them a letter. While the letters could be anything from A to Z, the only letters that matter for this test are the letters {A,B,C,D} all other letters can be ignored completely. A sample will be tested, given a length of time and then tested again. Each time the scientist will generate a line of data. Here is one Example: Example #1 AAAAABBBBBCCCCCDDDDD AAEBCBAFBBCDCECDADDEFEEFFF At first glance the sample looks significantly different after the second test. But if you look at the data, you will note that since we only care about A,B,C,D’s that the…arrow_forwardC programming language Criteria graded: Declare file pointers Open file Read from file Write to file Close file Instructions: Write a segment of code that opens a file called “numbers.txt” for reading. This file is known to have 10 numbers in it. Read in each number and print a ‘*’ to the screen if the number is even. If the number is odd, do nothing. Conclude by closing this file.arrow_forward
- python function that creates and saves data in a file. the saved data represents exam grades. in the function , you will create n random numbers in the range 1-100, where n is the number of students. The function can be called as follows: createFile(filename, n) main function, in which the user inputs the file name and the number of students, then the main calls function createfile. the main should preform validation for n (should be > 0), and the filename(should end with .txt)arrow_forwardAll code in JAVASCRIPT Write a program that creates two files with the names file4 and file4a two 10 element int arrays with the names arrfile4 and arrfile4a; these arrays are to have different values write the contents of arrfile4 to file4write the contents of arrfile4a to file4aarrow_forwardreadEmpFromFile Implement a function readEmpFromFile that takes a FILE * as the only argument and returns a pointer to a struct employee. This function should read the information from the file (reversing what writeEmpToFile does), create a new employee and fill in the data. If the FILE has no more info (is at end of file), this function should return NULL. This function must also ensure any employee actually created (not the NULL) is added to the array (as is done in createEmployee). Change main to load employees from a file using a command called LOAD which is given to the program using (using your readEmpFromFile function you just wrote). void main(void) { int end = 1; char * command; char buff[256]; char * findEmp; char findBuff[256]; char * sortType; char sortBuff[256]; char hire[] = "HIRE"; char list[] = "LIST"; char quit[] = "QUIT"; char find[] = "FIND"; char fire[] = "FIRE"; char _sort[] = "SORT"; char salary[] =…arrow_forward
