If the firm does not communicate with the media, environmentalists and local community, the trust of the society will be shattered from the organization and it will face the trust issues. The community will become suspicious about the organization because lack of communication can cause the community to suspect about the organization that they must be hiding some information or involved in anything wrong. No firm is highlighter to be non-communicative with the public as of now. If in case any organization proves to be non-communicative then the consequences will be loss of trust of the community and customer base.
Conclusion
Therefore, it can be concluded that if the firm does not communicate with the community it can lose the customer base and trust issues might arise between the community and the firm.
