The adult doseof Tamiflu against influenza is two capsules daily for 5 days. We are asked to find out (a) the formula and (b) molar mass of shikimic acid. (c) Also, we need to find out the number of moles of shikimic acid in 130 g of shikimic acid. (d) We also need to determine the number of capsules of Tamiflu which can be produced from 155 g of star anise. (e) We also need to determine the molar mass of Tamiflu. (f) We need to determine the amount of Tamiflu needed to treat 500, 000 patients (recommended dose - two capsules/ day for 5 days).
