1. I lived with my parents until I was sixteen years old. Then I left my parents and started to work while I continued my high school studies. I used to help my parents with the household chores pretty much like any spanish child would do. I lived in a small town in Latin America where we did not have access to moden restaurants or discotecs. So in that regard my life it is very different from theirs.
2. Most of them live with their parents. No one would like their parents around when they gather especially if they are teenagers. In big cities like Madrid and Barcelona space for houses might be small. In the USA, there are some families who have big houses. The houses in the farms are perfect for gatherings.
3. The spanish people value their family and their friends. The readings suggest that families like to be together. Their house is very important to them and so everyone works to keep it clean and comfortable. Food is important to them so they have the meriendas and tapas between their main meals. They like to spend time chatting with their friends in restaurants and cafés.
