Discover Engineering: Aerospace Engineering
According to Dictionary.com, engineering is a branch of science and technology that works with design and building. Also engineering is a career that focuses on solving problems by using the design process.Engineers work on the following: they solve, design, test and building things that humans use on a daily use.
The Engineering Profession
Chemical Engineering- According to Wikipedia.com chemical engineering is solve problems by using science, for example, creating new materials or try to make energy by connecting two diamonds, or making things that don’t damage the Earth or humans. Civil Engineering-According to Dictionary.com, civil engineering is a career that deals with design problems, or design something that we see in our regular day and we use. For example: roads, bridges, canals, and others builds that the humans use. Electrical Engineering- According to Wikipedia.com, electrical engineering works and solve problems related to electricity and electronics. Electrical engineering has started since the 19th century after the first telephone and electric power. Mechanical Engineering- According to Wikipedia.com, mechanical engineering applies to math and physics to analysis a design or to solve a problem. They products and operates machines and tools that a human use on a daily basis. This field type of engineering also connects to electrical and civil engineering. My Engineering Profession

Loren told me that he has enjoyed problem solving since he was very young. Growing up he knew he wanted to go into engineering but wasn’t completely sure which type he would enjoy the most. He was most interested in outer space and also cars and design. After his acceptance to Purdue, he turned to several upperclassmen for advice and their knowledge of the Engineering school and the programs. They told him about Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and how similar they were. After some thought, he decided that in aerospace engineering because of his interest in outer space.
Another problem is the perception about engineering. Engineering in general is the application of scientific and mathematical principles to practical ends such as the design, manufacture, and operation of efficient and economical structures, machines, processes, and systems. Engineers are applied scientists; they are not technicians.
What is aerospace engineering? Well let's break it down aerospace means technology and industry concerned with aviation and space, engineering means science and technology concerned with design, building, and use of engines and structures. If the words are put together it would mean aviation and space design, building, and use of engines and structure. Aerospace engineering is beneficial to society in many means here are a
Engineering is a wide field of study that divides into all the different categories like electrical, mechanical, chemical, petroleum, and the best for the last computer engineering. what does engineering mean you may ask? Scott Cahall defines Engineering as "[T]he art of applying science, mathematics, and creativity to solve technological problems."We can see how technology is so important to us these days it is even awkward if you are in the elevator and your phone runs out of charge. This is what Alex Tasic said about the power of technology "The capability of a computer gives us so much freedom and power to become as smart as we want and makes communication a lot easier." Technology is one of the important factors of our lifestyle nowadays and to continue developing this technology we need to understand the hard work of the engineering field.
Mechanical engineering is a very broad engineering major. It stems from the need to design components of machines, create components of larger systems, and to predict the effects of machines. The areas of work include the automotive industry, aerospace industry, energy industry, manufacturing, and environmental control (Hone). Mechanical engineers can study any moving thing, including the human body. They study design, solid and fluid mechanics, heat flow/transfer, and mechanisms (Prospects).
What is engineering? According to the dictionary, it is the branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures.. According to (Lucas J 2014), the field of engineering is very broad, there is a specific branch in engineering defined as networking, networking refers to connections, it is a set of connected computers. Computers on a network are called nodes. The connection between computers can be done via cabling, most commonly the Ethernet cable, or wirelessly through radio waves. Connected computers can share resources, like access to the Internet, printers, file servers, and others. A network is a multipurpose connection, which allows a single computer to do more, (Lucas J 2014).
First of all, aerospace engineering and mathematicians offer different working styles and job descriptions. The skills needed for this job are very similar, but at the same time very different. Aerospace engineers design and test aircraft, make sure planes are safe, and find ways to improve airplanes to make them safer. They can develop many things for aviation, defence systems, and spacecraft(Sokanu). They can specialise in military planes and helicopters(OOH). They can also specialise for spaceships and rockets. Aerospace engineers need to know a lot about physics. One thing they do is test aircraft that they just designed(Educating Engineers). They mainly work under two different descriptions. They may either be an aeronautical engineer or an astronautical engineer. Aeronautical engineers do a lot with aircraft, while astronautical do a lot with spacecraft(OOH). Both aeronautical engineers and astronautical engineers design and test things to make their flying safer, but they just specialise in

The civilian aerospace industry comprises firms that produce aircraft and firms that parts of these aircraft. The most commonly produced civilian transport airliners range from smaller turboprop aircraft to larger wide-body jets. Other types aircraft are produced in much smaller quantities and include two-seat leisure aircraft, corporate jets, and civilian helicopters.
Work experience as an engineer is very important. Knowing how to react in certain situations under certain circumstances is an essential part of being an engineer. Engineering industry have a wide variety of jobs such as civil engineer where you over-watch bridges, building and the other important structures, it makes sure everything is up to code for large building and structures. Mechanical engineering works on mechanical systems and other complex mechanics, such as; cranes and airplane motors. If someone who is inexperienced tries to take on a real engineer job, there could be extreme results and repercussions. Problems we face in the engineering world be when there are or could potentially be an irresponsible engineer or engineers, who are the lead project manager(s) working on something for public use like a bridge, if he fails in calculations due lack of knowledge and truth, where it may cause deaths if there is a failure in the bridge.
Engineers are problem solvers. They are creative to use technical means to solve problems. They design products, systems, devices, and structures to improve our living conditions. They work with engineers and are concerned with the practical aspects of engineering in planning and production.

I think engineering is an art of profession which unitizes the application of science such as science principles, nature’s power and resources on daily life purposes. It is not just about scientific knowledges, but a combination of economy, management, operations and the connection between society and technology. The ideal engineering product or system is a combination of accuracy, safety, durability, efficiency and economy possible (Landis, 1995). Therefore, an engineer should not be merely specified in only one academic area but a combination of scientist, mathematician and sociologist in order to construct systems that are beneficial to mankind and fulfill the needs of the society.
Engineers are generally particular in the way in which they are formulated to think and react within certain situations. They are developed from childhood and raised to problem-solve, communicate well, pay attention to detail, and to derive differential equations. While these required skills to be an engineer can be learned, they are better and lead to more success when they come naturally and are developed at a younger age, comparable to learning a language. This may not always be the case but luckily for me I have this benefit of developing my skills early. Pushing forward my success as an engineer, I have developed problem solving skills, a heavy influence on the idea of the production of a working and efficient final product, and a natural love for science and learning.
