Academics, Attitude, and Effort are what I learned to help me achieve my targets in high school, and will be the same for college. What I want to experience at CBU is their immense amount of resources that will benefit me in a major or career that I want to be in, however, right now I am undecided. With my attitude at CBU will help me experience great effects on what I could do to exceed in life. With my effort I know my experience will be a tremendous including social life, so knowing I will get to know my professors with the ratio being 17:1 in almost every class at CBU. With attending at CBU I know with the academics they offer, it will be valuable, beneficial, and superb. From what I heard the nursing program is ascending, however, is …show more content…
With getting to know my professors I will be able to build a trust with them. Also, I personally like to build a relationship with my teachers, understanding that some students don’t like to know their teachers and just want to pass the class the class. With me getting to know my teachers I can get more comfortable to ask a question about a problem that I don’t know how to solve or a section that is being taught. Additionally, with the small classroom, I will be able to get to know them as well and build a relationship, in order to help each other on an assignment, homework, or on a certain part of a problem or a chapter. I know that my social experience will be great.
Including my spiritual experience at CBU, I will be able to understand my religion more. Including, that all the staff members being 100% Christian, I could ask a question that I may have and the could help me find an answer. Having to attend the school's chapel I know that I can get closer to God and understand his word, and be able to follow in his footsteps that will help me grow as an adult. With this spiritual growth from attending CBU, will be vast and helpful with me growing into a mature and responsible

Since freshman year, the Junior Reserves Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program has been an invisible hand of guidance that strived to bring out the best in me. This longstanding program has an impact on me in ways so innovative, it is impossible to find another program filled with diverse exhibitions of life lessons, discipline, and teamwork. JROTC has given me a lifelong readiness to combat the harsh realities of the real world that exist, which in return has helped me better myself and my community in contributions to being a citizen in the United States of America.
“Let’s create an AIDS/HIV-free generation”, which is not only a slogan that was proposed by President Obama but also a goal that I would like to achieve on my future career path. My practicum project at the Department of Health and Human Services was to generate dataset of new AIDS/HIV cases in Houston/Harris area required by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and then to use ArcGIS software to make a map describing the new diagnosed in Houston area. The final products can be spatially lined to other sources to enhance understanding of social determinants of health affecting populations impacted by HIV. This practicum experience let me realize that AIDS spreads so quickly is because most people have insufficient knowledge or misconception about the disease and prevention. Becoming a pharmacist to provide prevention service and educate people to improve their health and wellbeing is how I want to reach the goal of creating an AIDS/HIV-free generation.

Reaching my goal in becoming a member of the National Honor Society would give me a great sense of pride both academically and personally. As a person I have ambition, academic excellence, and great decision making skills to offer NHS. I have been striving to do my academic best for a chance to be in the NHS, I show this with my 3.5 GPA. The National Honor Society is based off four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character.
After doing some research on the National Honor Society, I learned that one must demonstrate the qualities of scholarship, leadership, character, and service in order to be considered for membership into the National Honor Society. Therefore, by showing that I possess each of these four qualities, I can contribute to Ocoee High School as a member of the National Honor Society.
Being chosen to be a candidate for a membership for the National Honor Society is such an honor to me. It shows that I have worked hard in all aspects of my life to show leadership, success, excellence and service, despite the many challenges I have faced along the way. It also proves to myself that I have worked hard to maintain my grades in ninth, tenth, and some of eleventh grade while maintaining a part time job, and volunteering at a barn in my hometown.

As a sophomore, I am honored to be among the few students that have been granted the opportunity to be involved in the National Honor Society. I have many core values, that I feel qualify me as a leader in regards to my service to others and academic success.
I am truly honored to be among the amazing students who have been considered for the National Honor Society. In order to have even been considered to be nominated for the selective organization, I had to maintain a certain grade point advantage. I am ranked top three percent for my graduating class of 2018. Throughout my experience at Brockton High School, I was taught that school isn't all about you grades, but also about how you work with others outside the classroom. Also, I've been taught that the in order to differ yourself from the other 4,000 plus kids at this school, you have to become a leader. I strongly believe that I would be a great candidate for National Honor Society because I'm an amazing student academically and I'm in activities
Hours upon end are spent, face buried in a laptop or newspaper, analyzing stock dividends and bonds yields. Warren Buffett books and Wall Street Journal editions - a glimpse of the night stand that has well deservedly earned me the label “business nerd” by family and friends. I have, if not an obsession, a passion for studying finance. Aspiring to work in Investment Banking, I applied to Ross as it provides excellent exposure to the world of finance through premiere recruiting opportunities and a well-constructed business curriculum that merges the science of economics with the cultivation of leadership. At Michigan, freshman students are subject to a liberal arts curriculum, which I believe can benefit me in becoming a well-rounded student. Although I have a passion for finance, I cannot imagine isolating my studies to one subject for four years of school. In my Sophomore year, I would dive into financial studies such as accounting and business strategy; but Ross also emphasizes the ‘positive decisions’ course, which interests me because it acknowledges the impact that economic decisions have on society. Coming from a middle class background, I find it important to acknowledge the effect that the cost of living or price of gas have on family finances. Ross’s Junior and Senior curriculums step past the theoretical studies of economics and into the real world application of business skills, such as ‘communication strategy’ and ‘corporate strategy.’ I believe exposure to a collaborative environment in these years can assist me in cultivating a team
