Cramblett Case Summary

On 11/6/2017 at 1400 hours, I Officer Graves, responded to 735 E Haggard Ave Elon, NC 27244 in reference to an assist. Upon arrival Detective Turney, Lieutenant Sweat, and Officer Peters were at apartment K executing a search warrant. I was requested to remain outside of the residence at the front door. At 1426 hours Captain B. Tillotson entered the residence and left at 1441 hours. At hours Officer Peters released Jacy Loshin from the premises after issuing a citation. At 1455 hours Officer Chavis entered the residence and remained until the search warrant execution was completed at 1530 hours, when all remaining officers cleared.

Upon arrival, I made contact with King, Demetrius D. DOB 02/21/89, who related he was at White Castle, so his cousin (Staples, Cierra N. DOB 08/04/85) could use the restroom. King and Staples were checked through LEADS via dispatch. The name check revealed they were clear with no wants or warrants. I notified dispatch that Officer Albert and I were out at the RSC. I parked our patrol car on the north side of the RSC and entered the north door. I heard Officer Smith on the radio say he was out with the subject near the Credit Union. I observed from across the RSC Officer J. Smith and Officer R. Faison standing next to a black male all the way by the Book Store. As I walked closer, I could see the black male with both of his hands up in the air and he was getting down on both of his knees. Upon arrival, Officer Wheeler activated his (BWC1) body worn camera which was later uploaded to evidence.com. As our patrol vehicle pulled up to St. Luke’s emergency room entrance, I viewed a male later identified as (RV1) Devinelle Lavaughn Broussard with a cellphone in his hand attempting to prevent a female, later identified as (B1) Eleasia Ashanti Fraise, from throwing a (EVD1) red brick. I next saw Fraise throw the brick at a parked (D1) silver BMW, located along the south side walk. The brick fell to the ground and Fraise went to picked it back up. Fraise picked the brick up and moved in the direction of our patrol vehicle with the brick at shoulder height. I parked the patrol vehicle and immediately got out drawing my firearm to a low ready. On Thursday, July 14, 2016, at approximately 0847 hours, Patrolman David Stamets had a vehicle stopped on the 100 block of East Oak Street. Immediately after Stamets stopped the vehicle Your Affiant positioned his vehicle on the 100 block of South White Street near the Oak Street intersection facing southbound. When exiting my vehicle your Affiant observed a gold Pontiac sedan accelerating northbound on South White Street at an unsafe speed towards Stamets and your Affiant's location.

I, Deputy Daniel Pruitt spoke to a Steve Craine who stated on 06/06/2017 he saw a small silver SUV on his property. Steve stated the SUV was pulling a red 1970's model truck bed as a trailer. Craig stated Emma and Jerry were trying to sell items out of a red truck bed. Craig stated Emma and Jerry wanted $300.00 dollars for the whole trailer full of property. SUMMARY OF THE FACTS: An anonymous letter was sent to the Police Department of Bloomingdale. The letter included specific details involving a husband and wife. The letter stated that they were going to traffic drugs from Florida to Illinois. The police officer followed up on the tip and the defendants validated the allegations that were made. The police obtained a search warrant and found drugs, weapons and other contraband in the defendants’ home and automobile.

On Thursday, August 31, 2017 at approximately 2232 hours, I was dispatched to a residence across the street from 2220 University St in reference of a suspicious person inside of a black truck. Upon arrival I spoke to the complainant Ms. Delisa Smothers. Ms. Smothers stated that at approximately 2230 hours, an unknown black male went inside her neighbor's truck located across the street at 2221 University street.

FACTS OF THE CASE: On April 19, 2002 at around 9pm, three law enforcement officers from the Arizona’s gang task force, was on patrol in a known gang area in Tucson Arizona. They conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle which license plate check revealed the vehicle registration was suspended due to insurance violation. This is consider a civil infraction in the state of Arizona under the law. The police questioned the occupant about gang’s activities, and asked were there any weapon in the vehicle? The occupant replied no, police officer Trevizo’s noticed prior to the stop Johnson who was the back seat passenger continued looking back out the rear view window. On June 7, 2016, officer T.Cramblett #1191 was working cruiser 9182D, Zone 1 DMW, wearing the uniform of the day. Around 11:38 A.M radio aired that a robbery had just occurred at 1910 S. Hulmac Ct. Apt D, and that the suspect was a male black wearing a black shirt, jeans and having a goatee. The victim stated that the male had fled westbound from her apartment towards the 3C market located on Tamarack Blvd. The victim also stated the male was accompanied by a white female. On Sunday, November 5, 2017 at approximately 7:26 AM, I, Officer Raul Marrero and Ryan Holroyd were dispatched to 820 SE 9th Ct, in reference to a suspicious vehicle complaint. Dispatch advised of a white Pontiac car that was parked in the driveway. The complainant/homeowner, James Robert Caves Sr., didn 't know who the vehicle belonged to.

Watson, upon the pat down of Mr. Watsons’ person, officer Johnson found a “hand carved pipe with a golf ball size bowl and a five inch long pipe’ which officer Johnson believed was being used for smoking marijuana. Officer Johnson then handcuffed and placed Watson into the back seat of his patrol car and went to remove the keys from the Watson vehicle to check the trunk for the kidnapped three year old child, upon opening the trunk of the Fiat sports coupe car, Johnson found a cellophane wrapped package that looks to contain marijuana. Officer Johnson returned to his patrol car and informed Watson that he was under arrest for the Possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute a controlled drug substance.
