Greet customers in a friendly respectable manner, while scanning items and counting the appropriate amount of money, clean up our station when there are no customers, never be idle. At the end of the day I would take my register tray out and count out the amount of money I have made for the day and fill out a form to note how much and take a certain amount out and place it in a bank vault to keep it safe until pick up, while counting the money I would make a receipt how much exactly was in the register and refill the change for the next person who uses that tray and lock the tray in a cubby and give the key to the person at the head of the desk.
As a Deli Clerk, I was responsible for the evening and closing shit. I made the High roller's and

While doing so the chicken is usually done and I would have to place the 30 chickens into a plastic container and keep it warm in the "hot box" , the pizzas are finally finished by then and I would place them on the rack and move them up front and judge how many pizzas needed stocked, newer ones on the bottom old on top while also replacing certain items from the lunch shift such as potato salad, chicken wraps, and etc. and moving the racks into the freezer for the next day, and I would move to making the barbecue wings into the rotisserie and start cleaning up which included the earlier mess of chicken blood and water into the garbage, loading cardboard boxes into the trash compactor and draining the oil from the rotisserie oven and cleaning out any remaining particles and hose it down. Any leftover chicken is tossed into a separate trash can to be tossed out as well. I would wipe the tops down from the work area from earlier food items and wash the dishes, and the racks and skewers the chicken has been on. If inventory comes in its my duty to move the plastic containers upstairs, clean up the soup and take out tomorrow's soup of the day, and finally sweep the floors and then mop the floors and take down temperature of the food in our hot box and freezers to make sure it was all stable and take count how many chickens are left and sign if you're
The job of a cashier involves operating the cash register, coordinating item returns, and answering telephone calls. Handling the cash register requires awareness of current discounts, since the prices and discounts of all items at Hobby Lobby are entered manually. Customer service makes up a large component of this occupation when helping customers locate desired merchandise or staff personnel and ensuring that the customers receive a friendly and efficient checkout. Other tasks included in this job such as organizing and restocking store shelves, returning merchandise to the appropriate location, and pricing items requires great attention to detail and a good memory.
* Ensure that the well being of the customer is your first priority i.e. a doctor is called, they attend and help the customer
“It was a lot of hours you had to put it, owning a deli. But, I liked working at the deli more than school, I could interact with people, so the hours really didn’t bother me,” Joe commented.
Tasks and responsibilities: Manage associates, make sure customers are taken care of, manage sales and inventory, and make sure to keep a clean food safety department.
Please join me in congratulating Chris Ledezma, District 2 Coordinator, as he transitions back to the position of Assistant Store Manager in District 2.
I started my job at Napoleon Party Mart about a month ago. After being shown how to use the register and the lotto machine I was put to work as a cashier. A good majority of costumers bought the same thing: cigarettes. I fell into a quite comfortable rhythm with this. Scan the cigarettes, check ID, press Enter, Total, then Cash. At the end of the day we had to count the cigarettes then compare with the earlier shift's inventory and my register reports.
Those bartenders also decided who would stay and who would go throughout the night. The expressive purpose of our organizational culture was based on the personality of bartenders and servers. Some nights there would be a specific event going on, and the owner would choose bartenders who would get along with the crowd the best. When a bartender would assign servers to a section, it was decided by if they were social and sarcastic, they would work in the main bar area. If a server works well with kids, they would be assigned to the family side of the restaurant. Also, if there was a server who worked well with big groups, they would be assigned to the game room. Our shared value was to make sure people were getting what they ordered and that it would be brought out as soon as
The customer service and cash office responsibilities at the University of Toronto Bookstore demonstrate in-depth operational skills from the capacity to set priorities, manage high workload and achieve business goals. I worked effectively with its management to monitor the cash balance, review the sales reports with the WinPRISM point of sale software,
I began working at Duffy's Deli the summer following my sophomore year of high school, May 2015. I still am employed by the deli and work mainly on the weekends during the school year; however, during the summer I usually work up to four days a week. Typically, my job consists of working with three other employees in which we work together in order to complete the night’s duties which include, preparing the customers’ orders, managing the cash register, maintaining the cleanliness of the store, washing dishes, transporting caterings, and lastly closing down the store.
In fact, being hired as a cashier, I was performing all the other activities including cooking and washing dishes. Even though, that food place was really busy, only two people were assigned to work per shift. Imagine, one person grilling the meats only because he consider himself as a cook and the other one who is a cashier doing everything else including cleaning the dirty tables, filling up the straws for fountain drinks, taking orders, serving customers, cutting the salads and vegetables, also helping the cook to grill the meat. This experience is

When I worked at Popeyes, my position was a crew member. The atmosphere varied everyday but the one thing that remained the same was the goal of making the customer happy and satisfied. When I arrived, I had to log in and look on the board to see where I would be working. Most of the time I worked drive thru. Before taking my first order, I had to count my drawer and make sure that it contained the same amount listed on the drawer sheet. After that, I could start my day. When taking orders, I had to remember to
At my job, I have to be sure to treat all of my customers with respect and fairness no matter the age, size, or relationship you may have with a certain person. Once I ring up a customer, I must cash them out, help with bagging if needed, and then clean my register if no other customer is in line. When there are no customers at all, I am
Starting a business is never an easy task. There are many things that need to be considered when planning to start a business including starting costs, insurance, legal fees, locations, employment costs, inventory costs, product sales amounts and technology to name a few items. I have chosen to begin a business in the personal shopper industry. I will be a personal grocery shopper for busy people, the elderly and anyone else interested in my services. Whenever someone is unable to go grocery shopping, doesn’t want to stand in a long line, hates to shop or wants to avoid impulse buying I will be there to assist them in their grocery shopping needs. Being a personal grocery shopper will be beneficial to my area thee are not a lot of personal grocery shopper located in the Phenix City, Al./Columbus, Ga. area so the need for the service is great. There are many elderlies in the area that cannot drive and have to wait for someone to either take them or go shopping for them and can feel as though they are burdening them. This is when a personal grocery shopper is beneficial for them to keep their independents in
