Immigration is the act of individuals moving within or into a particular country for various reasons including work. There are two different types of immigration. They include illegal and legal immigration. Illegal immigration is the practice where individuals illegally migrate into a given country without following the set rules and procedures for immigration. The people who participate in illegal immigration sometimes are smuggled into a county or even sneak through its borders. They encounter challenges while trying to access these countries. On the other hand, legal immigration is where individuals undergo certification to enter into a country of their choice. Most persons who immigrate tend to do so for various reasons. Sometimes, they might flee their country of origin due to wars and others due to the existence of lucrative work opportunities in their countries of interests. It also helps individuals seek refuge in places where they feel they are safe. For instance, in countries that are raged with civil war, their citizens tend to take refuge in peaceful countries. It is through immigration that all this is usually made possible. Immigration also helps individuals to have a freedom of movement, therefore, lifting the restrictions of residing in one location. It gives people autonomy to conduct their activities in various regions without being under pressure or unnecessary influence.
