From the very beginning, the field of electrical engineering has grown at a rapid pace and expanded into numerous specialized categories, which includes electronics. Electronics also branched into a large number of subcategories. “The field of electronics was born with the invention of the thermionic valve diode vacuum tube in 1904 by John Ambrose Fleming” (Lucas). Fleming’s vacuum tube was the basis on which all electronics, such as radios, television, and radar, were founded on until it was replaced by the transistor in 1947.
To become an electrical engineer, an Associate degree and a Bachelor’s degree are required. Also, one should strive for a Master’s degree in order to be eligible for advancement in the the electrical

It would also be nice to design something that may leave my mark on the world, much like Thomas Edison did with the light bulb and Nikola Tesla did with the induction motor. In the field of Electrical engineering, the possibilities are endless.
There are many things being an electrical engineer entails, such as designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment or overseeing various manufacturing projects for both large and small companies. Electrical engineers often work with various groups on projects assigned and/or funded by these companies. In order for everyone to be on the same page and be able to work together successfully, all electrical engineers must not only understand how electronics work, they must also be computer savvy and well-educated in math These things go hand-in-hand with the creation of schematics and various circuits and simulating how certain electrical systems function (“Electrical and Electronics Engineers.").
Another job of an electrical engineer is to repair things that have been sent or delivered to the workplace or supervise the construction of navigation systems, electric motors, and much more.
One last example of what an electrical engineer does is examine equipment for faults or technical failures when a company asks for their assistance. There are so many small and
1&3Aerospace Engineers are responsible for a variety of different things. They are responsible for maintaining a professional work place and always being creative. They have to be able to explain how operations work and how things are supposed to be used (Aerospace Engineers). The reason I want to be an Aerospace Engineer is so I can always be around space crafts and help out build stuff for the space shuttles. In this occupation you work on different designs for different space crafts.
Electrical- The study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. These engineers will face problems such as making
An electrician is a tradesperson specializing in electrical wiring of buildings, stationary machines, and related equipment. Electricians may be employed in the installation of new electrical
Of course, there is the question of what is electrical engineering or what is an electrical engineer? Later on I will go over the differences between a marine engineer and a civilian engineer, but
Electrical Engineering is a well-respected and growing field of engineering that centers on the practical application of electricity, electromagnetism and electronics. The field is of considerable necessity to modern life and infrastructure, having applications in many diverse branches of modern life. Some of these include telecommunications, energy and power distribution, transportation, manufacturing and consumer electronics. In this report we will go over the education and coursework requirements, fields of the industry, the work environment, salary, tools of the trade, and professional organizations of electrical engineers.
Electrical: to determine the condition and necessary upgrades and repairs to the electrical system, telephone system wiring, intercom system, security systems, heat detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, provide circuit mapping, determine the electrical system capacity, adequacy of ground bonding, perform voltage testing, to evaluate electro magnetic fields, check voltage drops and circuit impedance.
The reason why electrical engineering is a good idea for a major is from the increasing demand for individuals with these skills. This trend will continue well into the future. The primary factors that are driving the need for these talents are the focus on utilizing more technology solutions. ("Put Spark in Your Future")
Electrical engineers are in a very important career with what they do and how much stuff that electrical engineers have worked on like
An electrical technician works with various tools for repairing and maintaining equipment that functions due to power supplied by electricity. He or she has to ensure smooth functioning of in-house machines or at clients' sites. The person usually works with specialized devices for measuring and diagnosing devices and problems in them. The electrical technicians follow guidelines set by the machine manufacturing companies and perform testing and maintenance works accordingly. Their general responsibilities is to install, repair, and maintain wiring and electrical systems.
There are many jobs that involve electrical circuits, such as: a car audio technician, an electrician, and an instrumentation technician. Though these jobs may be different, they all have one common thing between them: they all involve electrical circuits.
The most relevant capabilities needed to be an electrician are numeracy and critical and creative thinking. A sound knowledge on mathematics is necessary to determine the lengths of wires and fixtures, which relates to geometry. Algebra is needed to calculate electrical currents and electrical loads to avoid overloading a circuit.
Engineer combines the field of science and math to solve real world problems to make it a better place (Google Definition). Engineering is a diverse field of work there are many disciplines within engineering that can involve the application of a very different body of knowledge and skills (2012 Project Lead The Way, Inc. IED Activity 1.5Discover Engineering-page1). There are a lot of disciplines within engineering, naming all is too much, the most common engineer discipline are civil, chemical, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
The report focuses on two main career choices: Electrical Engineer and Computer Engineer. The report is broken down to main section and the following sub-sections:
Electrical components of equipment provide power. Electronic components of equipment provide power. Electronic components control the equipment, although many types of equipment still controlled with electrical devices.(Career Information Center) Electrical and electronic engineers may supervise crews of electrical workers who do routine work in the generating station. They often use their knowledge of electrical engineering technology to diagnose electrical workers to do them. Some electrical and electronic engineering technicians work for industrial plants that use electricity.(Career Information Center) Electrical engineers apply their knowledge of the science to working with equipment that produces and distributes electricity, such as generators, transmission lines, and transformers. They also design, develop, and manufacture electric motors, electrical machinery, and ignition systems for automobiles, aircraft, and other engines.(Careers In Focus: Engineering pg.55) Electrical engineers focus on high-power generation of electricity and how it is transmitted for use in lighting homes and powering factories. They are also concerned with how equipment is designed and maintained and how communications are transmitted via wire and airwaves. Engineers use basic knowledge collected by scientist to solve a
