Angiosperms are flowering plants in which flowers contain the organs required for sexual reproduction that is an evolutionary adaptive change to enhance reproductive success. Flowers contain organs for sexual reproduction, which includes carpels, stamens, sepals, and petals. Female gametophyte forms in the carpel present in the center of the flower and male gametophyte forms in the stamens, which surrounds the carpel.

For those who aren't scientists, there is disappointment when it's learned that scientists don't have all the answers to our questions. (Personally, it took awhile for me to be comfortable with this, and now I love it!). After reading the links and article, what are at least five unanswered questions that pertain to angiosperm evolution and diversification.
Compare and contrast the alternation of generations in pines and angiosperms. This must be very detailed and include all major structures and process involves. Be sure to include when the plants are haploid or diploid. You can use a list as long as order is clear. Be sure to clearly write out structure and processes and indicate which things are the same and which are different.
