Concept Introduction:
J.J.Thomson proposed that atom is divisible into smaller particles. Thomson proposed that electrons are embedded in a positively charged sphere. This sphere represents the positively charged atom. It is similar as plum pudding model. This model is also known as raisin pudding model of the atom.
