Findings: I found the central tendencies, the 5-point summary and the standard deviation of both of my variables; including for the variable that has data for 2 years. Interestingly, the variables had some common results. However, there were more differences then similarities, as each calculation had a variety of results. For example, variable X I calculated both years (1990 and 2012) and I knew already that each country had major differences between the two, but I think that affected the results in each step (the central tendencies, the 5-point summary and the standard deviation). It is noticeable to see how the mean and median in 1990 is lower than the mean in 2012, and this carried out through the rest of the next calculations. Comparing these findings to variable Y, I see that there is a tremendous …show more content…
All the results show that the answers for variable Y have larger number than to variable X in 2012 and even larger compared to variable in 1990. Overall the one part that is remotely similar is the box and whisker plot; even though the numbers are not the same, the shapes of each of them are alike. Throughout all the measures, there is a noticeable pattern between the variables. Carbon emission has a larger result than the population per km2 in 2012 and 1990. The best measure to observe and best describes the central tendencies in both variables is the median, because the value is not distorted by the major outliers in the data set. Plus, since there are equal amount of data and both variables have a min lower than 5 and a max in the thousands, it seems fair that the median is the best central tendencies to describe the results; it is the only one that is snot
2. Based on the scale of measurement for each variable listed below, which measure of central tendency is most appropriate for describing the data?
Evaluation as an end in itself is a very different process from counseling. Why would a counselor want to be an evaluator?
Thank you for sharing this story with us. Your client has a very sad story. Through your kind words, I can see that she is a strong individual who does not want to show any signs of weakness. However, she is putting on a brave face even though she is going through the darkest part of her life right now. Although it may seem like she will eventually get past this, recovery for athletes with eating disorder are highly unlikely. She will fall into a cycle of doing poorly in competitions which will cause more pressure, this pressure will lead to being more reliant on control of her intake of food. She needs everyone important in her life to gather for an intervention for her. However, by the looks of this case it seems she has very few people in
To identify, a project idea based on my work and personal life will involve motivating my sister in having a healthier diet. By way of example, I will encourage her in eating more fruits and vegetables to strengthen her immune system and lower her blood pressure. Additionally, motivating her to a healthier eating habit will not only help her wellbeing but strength my abilities as a care provider. Considering that, her diet now consists of high sodium foods such as ramen noodles and fast food, she has been more restless and stressed. Henceforth, this project will build her health and offer her the opportunity to feel more energized, lower blood pressure, and even having more strength to practice walking with her leg braces versus her wheelchair.
14. Evolutionary theories often emphasize that humans have adapted to their physical environment. One such theory hypothesizes that people should spontaneously follow a 24-hour cycle of sleeping and waking—even if they are not exposed to the usual pattern of sunlight. To test this notion, eight paid volunteers were placed (individually) in a room in which there was no light from the outside and no clocks or other indications of time. They could turn the lights on and off as they wished. After a month in the room, each individual tended to develop a steady cycle. Their cycles at the end of the study were as follows: 25, 27, 25, 23,24, 25, 26, and 25.

This week was a busy week, my Supervisor gave me several tasks to finish for this week.
I think the spiritual care that was provided to this patient was amazing. Being place in this counselor shoes, I would have don’t the same thing. The client had a great life, until the doctor diagnosed him with terminal lung cancer, and the client was feeling very depressed and distraught about the situation until the client met the counselor. At first the counselor did not want to help the client, and stated that he had his own personal beliefs, and don’t want to compare the religion beliefs with the client. When counseling someone, it is very rare to discuss the personal beliefs with the clients. In this case, the counselor help the client find his own religious beliefs and help him find eternity. The client was amazed as of how the counselor helped him find beyond life, death, and after death. The client asked for forgiveness and grace and felt more comfortable of dying.
Descriptive statistics are digits that are used to summarize and describe a given range of data (Klenke, 2008). Basic descriptive data includes, mean, median, mode, variance and standard deviation. The data can be rearranged in an ascending order as follows:
Response: “Alan Potter (2014) wrote that John MacArthur warned us that if we lose the biblical foundation while preaching this will lead to the decline of preaching which will contribute to the weakness and worldliness of the church, so for a church to be spiritual healthy, preaching should return to its proper biblical foundation (https://www.linkedin.com). Paul told Timothy that by preaching the Scripture, man and women could be wise for salvation (2 Tim. 3:15 NKJV). They learn the way of salvation through the Bible which the Holy Spirit taught the preacher to use, they should not use their own words dictated by man’s wisdom (1 Corinth. 2: 13

There are a lot of crimes happening around the world. There are some that are solved and the rest is still unresolved as of present times. This is the very reason why people result to getting private investigators, to get the right information for them. They should be able to get the details that are needed to solve the cases that are not resolved. We should also know the credentials of the investigators and the company. They should be licensed by the government above all.
Fry Brothers heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. employs Larry Clark and George Murnen to make service calls to repair furnaces and air conditioning units in homes. Tom Fry, the owner, would like to know whether there is a difference in the mean number of service calls they make per day. Assume the population standard deviation for Larry Clark is 1.05 calls per day and 1.23 calls per day for George Murnen. A random sample of 40 days last year showed that Larry Clark made an average of
Hypotheses Testing Procedure. In the beginning, the researcher analyzed organized raw data, which were collected from November 2015 to February 2016, by descriptive statistics approach with the outcomes of the median, mode, mean, maximum & minimum values of variables, standard deviation, Kurtosis, and Skewness. Subsequently, feedback variables were examined by normality tests to see if the data surely perform a normal distribution. In order to correct non-normal data, this paper used several means of data transformation inclusive of power transform, the decimal logarithm, linear transformation, natural logarithm, and inverse distribution
