A cigarette has been an essential stress-relieving tool to many people even with the health risks and environmental damages cigarette is causing. However, in the past three years, the electronic cigarette has taken over on regular cigarette production. “People all over the world are making that switch from cigarettes to electronic cigarettes” (Healy 1). Electronic cigarette has been taking over in the past couple of years because of its positive reputation among the society that it tastes better, smells better, and less harmful to the smoker and the surroundings. Smokers should know that there is a healthier choice to smoke to make the choice whether to switch or not. Most of the smokers who tried electronic cigarette made the switch after experiencing the feeling of smoking it and knowing the positive things in the electronic cigarette that is missed in tobacco. Moreover, tobacco should be banned in public due to the high rate of second hand smoke victims that got affected by the smoke and caused them serious health risks. The society must be aware of this problem and should not be quiet when they see a smoker smoking in a public place and harming someone surrounding him. Also, offering electronic cigarette to a smoker would help reducing the rate of tobacco smokers because not many have experienced smoking electronic cigarette and this could be the call for the switch for the smoker. Finally, CASAA and SFATA are non-profit organizations that share the same goal, which is reducing the rate of smoking tobacco, and support any alternatives to smoking, including electronic cigarette. Both companies have educated the public and increased awareness about the benefits of tobacco alternatives. They have achieved their goals through donations and support of people.
