The industrial revolution was one of the biggest innovations from the 18th to 19th centuries. The Industrial Revolution changed the way the world was looking at altogether; new things were possible, things that no one ever could’ve dreamed of. In addition, creating new methods of production, manufacturing times were greatly lowered, meaning the product could be given to the public faster and in larger quantities.
The Industrial Revolution was when the world finally began to move into the future, due to it, we have the world we live in today. The American economy was caught in transition in the event of the Civil War. What had been an almost purely agricultural economy in 1800 was in the first stages of an industrial revolution which would

When the Industrial Revolution reflects upon, not every change can be thought of in a blissful manner. Factories needed workers, and often time children were resorted to as cheap employees. Many children were killed during the Industrial Revolution; these children obviously didn’t have the motor skills to be working in factories. Eventually child labor laws were created to put restrictions on child labor exploiters.
All the labor was done manually and required physical forces so the productivity was slow, an example was the cotton production, which involved only in person to clean the cotton by extracting the seed and produce threat, subsequence the demand of cotton John Kay invented the Flying shuttle to speed the process of weaving and the demand of threat. Then, because of the advance other inventors came with more innovated ideas. Another great invention was the spinning mule in 18th century invention that spun textile fibers into yarn by an intermittent process: in the draw stroke, the roving is pulled through and twisted; on the return it is wrapped onto the spindle. The steam engine began to
The technology from Slater produced greatly which increased the speed of the cotton thread that could be spun into yarn. When he introduced a new technology to the United States, economic takeoff of the Industrial Revolution requested other elements before turning into American life.
The Industrial Revolution was the beginning of mass production of goods and urbanization of Britain and later the United States. It took place from the mid-1700’s until about the mid-1800’s. The industrial revolution began in Britain but later spread to other countries, including the United States. This revolution happened because with populations rising in areas, there was a higher demand for not only manufactured goods, but also for jobs. So the industrial revolution really did meet both of those demands at once. More factories with new methods of mass production helped meet the
The Industrial Revolution was a long, slow, uneven process in which production shifted from simple hand tools to complex machines. The revolution began in 1750, in Great Britain, where many new sources of power began to replace humans and animals. It started with improved methods of farming, a population explosion, and new technology. It was a success and innovated many aspects of life. However, to get to all the good, the Industrial Revolution had to go through some bad.
The Industrial Revolution was a time when there was a big increase in trade and crop growing. They had many things that helped them to increase their wages, and crop growing was one of the biggest incomes. The Industrial Revolution began in England because they had good natural resources, they had useful inventions, and they had good working strategies. England had many great resources, which is one of the many reasons why the Industrial Revolution began there. All of their resources helped with their needs.
The industrial revolution was the change of the world. These changes were a development of machines and technology to make life easier by making things. The industrial revolution has changed the lives of many. Not only did it make work easier, more people were employed and services were updated and improved. The industrial revolution population increased. More homes were built, food was much cheaper because there was lots to go around. The industrial revolution has changed Australia and America between 1750 until 1901 in with many ways such as the change of people’s jobs (gender jobs), the benefits of new inventions, the movement of people and the impacts on indigenous Australians and African Americans.
One reason why the Industrial Revolution had a negative impact on the world is because it started child labor. Child labor is when businesses and industries take kids from any age and make them work in dangerous and inhumane places. In the document from a British industrial worker, the Sadler Committee in 1832 investigated the workers’ conditions in British factories. It says, “ ‘... When did you first begin to work in the mills? When I was ten years of age … we began at five in the morning and stopped at nine at night … at times we were frequently strapped [whipped].’ ”. This statement from the document shows a negative impact in the Industrial Revolution because kids at young age are sent to work for long hours and are frequently whipped.
The Industrial Revolution was a period where many major technological advances, such as the steam engine, were made. It began in Britain some time after 1750. The technological advances allowed for much higher rates of production, but had several other effects as well. The Industrial Revolution altered the political situation, social structure, and economic standing of Great Britain. Drastic change in technology during the Industrial Revolution led to several political changes.
Mechanization began in the textile mills in England where a weaving machine attached to a wheel could do the work of 50 people. Fuel, clothing, and food, all became more affordable. The innovations in this field were intimately interconnected. The invention of the flying shuttle by John Kay in 1733 dramatically increased the speed of weaving, which in turn created demand for yarn, which led to inventions like the spinning jenny or the water frame. These processes were mechanized using waterpower, until the steam engine came along..
The Industrial Revolution was a period of rapid growth in U.S. manufacturing in the 1800’s. It helped America trade, sell things, and it helped the economy.
The Industrial Revolution began in Europe and eventually made it to America in the 1780s. It was an extensive development in manufacturing, agriculture, mining, and many other jobs. The Industrial Revolution was a huge turning point in history. How everything changed so quickly, like how fast the way people were living and how things were formed. Before people stayed in tiny villages using everything by their hands and working on agriculture. The Revolution changed it all.
When people think industrial revolution they thing factories and smoke but the revolution was so much more than that. The industrial revolution transformed manufacturing transportation and communication. The century long even took goods normally made by hand and turned them into some of the first massed produced product. . It transformed the daily lives of Americans more than any other event to ever take place in the United States of America.
The Industrial Revolution changed the ways by how the world produced its goods. It was the era when the use of power-driven machines was developed. It also changed our societies from a mainly agricultural society to one in which industry and manufacturing was in control. This had many effects on people’s lives.
It was the transition of hand-made products to a new manufacturing process, which would be more efficient and cut down time on products being made. The steam engine was and important invention they powered the first trains, steamboats, and factories. The people were able to have an extra source of energy. We are able to have a large population in the world and have necessities, the factories were able to help us accomplish that. The industrial production was great, but it still had negative effects: it caused major air pollution, unsafe, long hours. The industrial revolution was able to let humans do less of the hard-physical labor than the generations before
Be the 1750's, the Industrial Revolution had begun. In the beginning, inventions were limited to cotton weaving. This quickly changed with new inventions such as the spinning jenny and the water powered frame. A problem existed in which yarn was not being fed fast enough to the weaver, but in 1769 the spinning jenny and the water powered frame solved this problem by providing yarn faster. Edmund Cartwright, in 1880, invented the power loom, and it combined both the machine's characteristics and purposes in one machine. Cleaning cotton was always an extremely difficult and time consuming job. In 1793, Eli Whitney created a brilliant invention, the cotton gin. This marvelous invention could clean cotton 50 times faster then the average person. These new inventions all assisted the manufacturing of cotton goods by speeding up the process. (members.aol).
The Industrial Revolution was a period from 1750 to 1850 where agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, and technology went through a period of significant change. These changes had a profound impact on the social and cultural conditions of the time, beginning in the Untied Kingdom and spreading throughout Western Europe, North America, and
