The cell phone is a phenomenon of modern and high-tech technology that consumers all over the world desire and need. Innovatively, manufacturers design features that include calendars, Internet, GPS tracking, E-mail functions, and cameras. Interestingly, the popularity of these features differ throughout the world and among members of various cultures. Surprisingly, research has shown that the size, shape, and style of the phones are most important to American consumers. In comparison, the Russian culture values the durability and reliability of the phone. Understandably, these qualities are important due to the economy and lower income of the consumers. In recent years, the economy has begun to grow, so the increase in income places a higher
In 2008, sales of cell phones across the world reached 1.28 billion (Solomon, 2011). As the cell phone industry grew, so did their features. Now, cell phones come equipped with GPS tracking, various types of applications (apps), e-mail programs, usage of the Internet with high speeds, and cameras. Different cultures have different wants and needs for what they desire in a phone.
Over the past decade, we have integrated technology into many parts of out lives. We use our cell phones for everything from finding directions, to taking pictures of moments you do not want to forget. Everywhere you go, you cell phone goes with you, if you forget it at home, somehow we feel naked without it. Cell phones have become so powerful and useful for so many things other than just making phone calls; I do not even know why we still call them phones. With that, we have the right to feel secure and free from unwarranted searches though our cell phones and electronic devices.
Ever since cellular phones first came to be in the 1980’s, people have been using them to carry out conversations, ask questions, or meet new people. Once cell phones reached a height of internet capabilities, smartphones were created. Cell phones from then on ended up changing society entirely. This research study could explain the effects of cell phones from their creation to today’s society and how they would influence the future generations. This study would also focus on the evolution of how cell phones become even more involved in our lives and how they truly influence us. This study would be beneficial to our generation by teaching them how technology is expanding, and the lives of humans will get easier as time goes on. Furthermore, this study would be beneficial as a report on how cell phones came to be in our history. This would expectedly heighten the awareness of society to how different our lives could be according to technological development. To the future researchers, this study could be used as a base for data in future development into how society adapts.
Technology has advanced at a rapid rate over the past decade. We can now do things on the go, including social networking, shop, check email, not to mention, make a call. As technology develops, electronics get smaller and smaller. Over 10 years ago, cell phones were the size of (if not larger than) cordless house phones. We would only see them being carried by business men or lawyers. Now there are 8 year olds with blackberry’s. Cell phones are a huge part of most of our lives, But what effects have they had on American culture?
In the world today, cell phones are being used more than ever before. Everywhere you go, cell phones are present, and its users range from almost all ages. There is no avoiding the fact that cell phones are a prominent way of communication. They have become so influential in peoples’ everyday lives that many can not imagine life without a cell phone. Cell phones are not necessarily a bad tool, when used in moderation. Cell phones are changing the way people communicate and the way they live their everyday lives.

Over the past 20 years, technology has advanced in an almost indescribable way and it is continuing to do so. It has a vast influence on our society and having some type of technological device is becoming a necessity for some people. Cell phones are one of these devices “with everyone from elementary school kids to senior citizens owning at least one. ”(Laura Jerpi)
Twenty five percent of all American cell phone users currently own an iPhone as of September 2013 (Bosic). IPhones have become a sense of status to the American people. By owning an iPhone it makes a statement of class, a statement the iPhone has been making since its unveiling. When the iPhone first debuted in 2007 it was priced at $599 and considered a piece of luxury (Kelly). While iPhones can now be subsidized with a two-year contract, the iPhone is still considered to be luxurious (Kelly). Apple’s iPhone has transformed the way American culture communicates, how productive they can be and even their mental capacity, simply by changing the way American view cell phones.
Patriotism is the love and pride we have for our country. It’s our continuous support and thankfulness for what America has provided for us. Our generation has fulfilled our daily lives with cell phones where we can frequently communicate with each other. Cell phones have influenced much of our development in our economy and social lives in America.
Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution in the 1860’s, people have rapidly improved people’s lives with technology. The first generations of computers started the base of computers and their system. These generations were influenced by inventers like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Steve Wozniok facilitated the computers, tablets, and smart phone we use today. With tablets and smart phone being so accessible it is no surprise that computers are not as popular as they used to. Many people would prefer to have an item that can fit in their back pocket or bag, instead of having to carry a big, space consuming item. They would rather have a hand held tablet and can fit almost any where somebody needs it to. Everywhere there is technology;
There are multiple technologies that have appeared in the past half-century, but most importantly these technologies have revolutionized the way Americans live. We’ve spent time researching and exploring their beginnings, as well as where they’ve taken us today. Today, there are ever-evolving systems manufactured for the purpose of communication, specifically mobile telephones. Mobile phones, better known as cell phones are constantly advancing to incorporate the new needs and desires of users with functions including, high speed internet, touch screens, apps, Bluetooth, calendars, etc. An app called GroupMe – A home for All the Groups in Your life, allows connections between families, friends, roommates, co-workers, and in this particular
The Russian culture is different than those of the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, and American cultures. Food and water are the top two important necessities in Russia, while cell phones come in third place (Kolesnikova, 2017). Although Russians have a low income, between 60 to 80 percent own a cell phone (Solomon, 2011). Rather than Americans need to have the latest style, shape, size, and upgrade as soon as they are able to. Russians, on the other hand, prefer their cell phone to be durable and reliable. The differences between cultures can be seen in the products that the average Russian purchases. An example would be over 90 percent of Russians prefer text messaging rather than talking on the phone, including teachers communicating to parents
Cell phones in the U.S. have changed us. They have changed us mentally and physically. This has also changed some of our history. Cell phones have also made some problems. Some of the effects that this has caused are effects on the brain, communication, and social.
Following the time when the mid 1980s, phones have been rapidly moving their route into our commonplace lives, particularly with the presentation of cam telephones in the early part of the new thousand years. As cells develop they have more of an effect on our commonplace lives and I need to exactly how much they are affecting. Similarly as with new engineering in whatever other structure, phones have changed enormously over their generally short life compasses. As these progressions happen, so does the populaces like and here and there loathe for these new advanced cells. One of the real issues happening with cell telephones in present day times is that individuals use them at wrong times, for example, when they are looking at of a market. Despite the fact that there are a couple negative perspectives about phones, my exploration and my paper are going to mostly the profits of Pdas in the United States of America. My exploration concentrates on a few key regions in wireless correspondence, for example, the advancement of Pdas, content informing, Pdas and other PDA applications and in addition my own particular exploration including a overview that I dispersed to some of my colleagues.
