The vegetative reproduction maintains the uniformity of features in plants, produce genetically identical plants, and the reproduction rate is high.

Vegetative propagation is the technique in which a new plant can be grown from a piece of old plant. In this technique a part of plant is selected and grown in a favorable condition, while the chemotaxis process is chemical production by archegonia that is involved in the fertilization of egg in moss life cycle.
