1. Reflect On Engineer’s Australia Stage 1 Competencies
Knowledge and Skill Base
1.1 Descriptive, formula based understanding of the underpinning natural and physical science and the engineering fundamentals applicable to the practice area.
I as an electrical engineer pursuing my master in electrical and electronic engineering developed a skill to solve the problem. During my bachelors, I studied natural and physical science and basic fundamentals that are required in the engineering field and also gained vast knowledge how to identify and tackle new problem in the practical world.
In my schooling, I studied subjects that include science along with mathematics which helped me to develop awareness in the above courses.
After completing my bachelors , I worked as an Design engineer in the field of Electrical where I was able to implement knowledge which I had gained from my Bachelors of Engineering. When I realized that my bachelor’s knowledge and skill was not able to address new problems, I decide to pursue my masters in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Personally, I believe that more problem solving technique would help to identify the source of error easily than others.
1.4 Discernment Of Engineering Development With In Practice Area
2. Skills And Knowledge From The Past
I have completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the year 2012. After completing
Because I have taken several science classes throughout my high school and even middle school career, I am well acquainted with how the scientific process generally works. This activity reinforced my understanding by allowing me to practice it myself while not even
Electrical- The study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. These engineers will face problems such as making
Becoming a professional electronics electrical engineer is not an easy task whatsoever. Although this process is challenging and time consuming, I know I have the patience, the discipline, and the determination to make it through. Based on the strict and fairly difficult
Staring at engine components of a car as well as holding a smartphone with almost unbelievable thickness fascinated me in many ways indirectly leaded me into getting to know more through different sources about machines ranging from transportation to communication devices. Two years of A-level preparation, further solidified my interest in this area as I found myself very fond of learning mathematics, physics and mechanics in particular. In addition, my curiosity in the operation and dynamics of objects naturally influences my choice of degree, leading me towards Engineering as it is a discipline which satisfy my own interest and most probably bring out the best of me.
My education and work experience have been great preparation for a career in this field. Engineering, by nature, requires strong analytical and problem solving skills. Even outside the classroom, I have learned to look at a situation and break it down systematically. Sometimes when a direct solution is not possible, an optimal alternative or repurpose is appropriate. For example, I worked
Since I was young, I like to study things about science. Be it Biology, Chemistry, or Physic. I also like math. I loved to study them all, the four subject which becomes student nightmare.
Electrical Engineering is “ The branch of engineering concerned with the generation, transmission, distribution, and use of electricity. Its two main branches are power engineering and electronics (including telecommunications). Electrical engineering emerged in the late 19th century with the mathematical formulation of the basic laws of electricity by James Clark Maxwell, followed by the development of such practical applications as the Bell telephone, Edison’s incandescent lamp, and the first central generating plants. Electrical power engineers design generators, power stations, and electricity supply systems as well as electric motors and transport and traction systems. Electrical engineering is an applied science involving mathematical skills and a knowledge of physics, in addition to the basic engineering subjects” (The Macmillan Encyclopedia). Electrical systems have always fascinated me since childhood, and figuring out the engineering behind everything I could get my hands on was another passion I have always had. When getting out of the military and deciding to go to college electrical engineering was the only major that really stood out to me as a way to combine both my childhood interests. My third year at college and I still stand firm with my decision as I continue to excel in my classes directed toward my major while the classes further ignite my passion for the field of study.
Today, the world is dominated by the field of electronics. Innovative ideas are coming into existence in our day to day life. Electronics plays a key role in the organization of any system under consideration. This trait of electronics extends into a broader scope. Thus, pursuing a career in the electronics field is my goal. Thus, Masters in Electrical Engineering with Electronics as the major is an apt choice to reach my goal.
I remember myself as a bright student throughout my schooling. I was well versed in both academic and extracurricular, especially in sports. My engineering was a bit of a different story. Over the four years of engineering, I learned subjects related to Power Systems, Electronics, Analog and Electronic Instrumentation, Microcontroller and Microprocessor, Control Systems, Electrical Machines. Etc. Laboratory sessions of these subjects helped me to accumulate consciousness of practical usage of electrical engineering. It gave me the opportunity to correlate theory to practical phenomena. This, in turn, gave me a better understanding of the subject and newer lines of thinking. The course in Electrical Engineering covered a wide panorama of subjects. I learned to program in C and MATLAB which were extremely helpful in my practical works. My ideas and knowledge of electrical engineering were first tested in the third year of engineering in the power electronics based project of ‘Pulse triggering circuit for triggering of SCR’. Besides that, I was always exposed to co-curricular activities like vocational training at transmission
Engineering, when I think about it or hear about it, the first thing that flashes in my mind is that preparing toy cars with bottle caps and cardboard. From childhood my thoughts, imaginations was about creating a toy or a thing from scrap. When, I was in my school I read a magazine about cars which created a zeal in me to know more about automobile and I started a bit of research about it. Encouraged and inspired by all those fascinating models that came forth from my own dexterity, eventually I decided to pursue a career in Mechanical engineering. Alongside from routine curriculum, daily I seek to learn a part or working of a part in an engine. This made to take a masters course in Automotive Engineering.
On my first day of Engineering life, the lecture of Basic Electrical Engineering was something that generated keen interest in my heart about this core field. Electrical being mother of different branches of Engineering I could learn even Electronics and Programming based subjects parallel to our field. I have always been fully focused in learning my subjects and completing assignments and all of that
Engineering is the process of using science, mathematics, technology and common sense in a creative way to design, build and sell all kinds of products, services and information. In my perception, success in any career depends on a few basic fundamental elements and technical expertise with a sound knowledge base. These aspects need to be supplemented by an extensive data bank and administrative skills. Of course, the ultimate success depends on the individual’s will to translate the above traits into a meaningful demonstrable success consistent to such success. As an undergraduate student my exposure has been in the academic side with participation in seminars and symposiums. However, with fierce competition that exists in all technical fields and in-depth knowledge that is required to meet the challenging situations that may arise in those technical fields in the days to come, shall be met, I am sure, by the kind of exposure the Graduate Course in your esteemed university is going to provide.
I take this opportunity to describe my educational background and career objectives that motivated me to gain a research career in Electronic engineering. My undergraduate education has provided me a thorough exposure to the various opportunities available in Electronics and telecommunications
I completed my Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, the program was a blend of mathematics, operation management, lean manufacturing, quality control and engineering economics applications. All through my Bachelor program, I was attracted to the idea of developing a more effective technique to generate power of the solar system using smart technology.
In this report I want to explain about my major project part-2 which was done during the tenure of bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
