Motivations For Genocide

In Rwanda during 1994 Genocide happened between the Hutus and Tutsis. Hutus and Tutsis had disagreements on who will have power which effected the whole population of Rwanda. This leads to the question why there is Genocide in Rwanda? Genocide happened by two clans who caused mass causalities. Others did little to help which caused Genocide to happen in Rwanda.

It also signifies the intent to destroy the group’s existence and even going as far as preventing reproduction and the aggressive removal of children within that group. It is such an inhumane act of violence – to have the intention to destroy or murder people because of their race, beliefs, or even political and economic status. A majority of genocides occur in a war type environment. It is not measured on the amount of people who are killed. There are 3 key factors that lead to genocide the first being Religion, the second being absolute power, and the third is that the person with the first two will lead to genocide if they have psychopath tendencies.
