Children and young people 1.1 Describe how to establish respectful, professional relationships with children any young people
To establish and maintain a respectful and professional relationship with children and young people in setting the Teaching assistant must always put the children first, never appear bored or uninterested, always encourage children and never make them feel like they have said something silly as this may make them reluctant to join in class discussion or turn to the teaching assistant for help. Body language is very important, if a child senses anger or unrest this may make the child not want to approach

3.1 Describe how communication with children and young people differs across different age ranges and stages of development
When communicating with babies and toddlers parents often use baby language I.e. choo choo for train and woof woof for dogs but this will not help them later on when the time comes to go to school, as they grow the need to be taught the proper words for things as it will make it more difficult when they start school and it will confuse them. In early years at school they concentrate on phonics, numeracy and literacy this helps them develop their language and mathematical skills and helps them for the rest of their school life. Each child has a different way of learning. The TA must be able to communicate with each child regardless of their learning abilities. Communication can differ among different ages and stages as the younger children may have difficulties such as speech problems which in older children this may have already been addressed.
3.2 Describe the main differences between communicating with adults and communicating with children and young people
The difference between communicating with adults, children and young people are adults are able to process information much more quickly and
Developing positive relationships is important within most situations in life, a good way of ensuring these positive relationships progress is to ensure you have effective communication. When working with children if you complicate things it can lead to the child becoming confused as to what is expected of them. Make sure the language that you use is age appropriate to avoid confusion. You may be able to see if the child has understood your request by either checking that your instructions have been carried out or simply by asking the child "do you understand?" and asking them to relay back what you have asked. Communication is a two way thing and to have a positive relationship with somebody you will also
In conclusion effective communication with children, young people and adults is fundamental to developing relationships. It should be remembered that whilst it is important for me to communicate effectively with others it is equally important for me to listen to others to further develop the relationships I have.
In regards to young people will be more mature and can participate in a more formal conversation although they my still need to practice waiting for their turn to speak in coversations.
Unit 3.3.1 – How communication with children and young people differs across different age ranges and stages of development
1.1 Explain why effective communication is important in developing positive relationship with children, young people and adults.
All members of the staff must act as professionals while at work, especially with young children. The administrative and teaching staff must work together to ensure their practices are developmentally appropriate, and share new and/or creative ideas with one another. It is also the responsibility of a teacher to establish an open, trusting relationship with the parents of each children in their care. Thus, parents can freely communicate their thoughts, concerns, and/or suggestions about their child or the program. Parent satisfaction is something that every child care or development center should strive for.
I need to gain children’s trust and respect to be able to provide best developmental opportunities for them that is why children are assigned a key worker to ensure warm and mutual relationships can be built and developing good relationships with both the child and their parents. It is very essential to use appropriate language (I must always address the children and the adults politely and using the correct terms, we often speak to children in their home languages too if it is other than English).
The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people is a vital factor in working towards building relationships that may flourish and enable the gaining of confidence and trust. In a role as a professional adult working with children you will need to remember that you need to be a positive role model for children,this means you will have to show them how to communicate and get along with others at all times through your own relationships and communications with other adults and children.It is very important for children to see adults behaving appropriately and proffesionally in schools.We build relationships with others daily in a diffrnt number of ways children will always respond positively to positive communication and realtionships they are more likely wanting to be in schools and to learn if they have good relationships and are supported by adults around them who get along with each other.

Effective communication, and respectful relationships are vital when talking with children, young people, and adults as they both allow accurate gathering of information and feelings and the subsequent passing along of any issues that may need to be followed up on.
I think I am not only need communicate with children, but also, I will interact with parents and my co-works. I think it is very important to be respectful to everyone. When I talk with children I will be stayed in children’s level, and keep eye contact with children. Children were young, they maybe not understand too much words, but they are very sensitive to how educators treat them. For example, when you speak with children with a warm tone, they will be happy; to the contrary, they will be afraid. If you respect them and try to build a good relationship with them, they will know you are a good person; and after they were familiar with you, they will always have a happy face to you, also they want to kiss or give you a hug. For parents, they are adults, they have a good understanding ability, but they are also take care of their children. Hence, when I interact with parents about their children, I need face to the parents, with eye contact, and try to use some mild tone to express our ideas about their children and I want to show parents, I do my best to build a good life environment for their
