The Christian worldview, also categorized under theism, is highly recognized and held by many. This is the belief that there is a single, personal, and relational God who is the creator of all things, this includes a belief in morality and the afterlife. This paper will discuss important aspects and key characters in the Christian worldview, including God and His plan for His children, humanity and the Fall, and Jesus’ role in restoration.

Jesus spread “good news” of God’s kingdom. He did “miraculous works of healing and calming the sea and feeding the 5,000” (Lecture 4, 2015). In Echeverria’s, The Christian Faith as a Way of Life, he states, “Christ is Lord of all-over every aspect of life. Yes, even the intellectual life is in service of Christ the King” (2007, p. 244). Jesus Christ was sent by His Father to atone for humanity’s sins. This act is an example of God’s eternal love for humanity. John 3:16 says, “for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” …show more content…

This is all I have ever known. I grew up believing in one God, His son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (the Trinity). I do believe that God created everything in this world and that we have been placed here for a reason. I have never felt the urge to branch out and study other religions. The reasoning for this is because I believe that I have felt the spirit while reading the Bible and listening to other individual’s faith that coincides with mine. I am not perfect, and no one is, but I do my best to follow God’s commandments, be a good-hearted person, and believe whole-heartedly in our Savior and the sacrifice that was made for us
