God
Who is God? God is the creator of all according to the Christian worldview. As Christians we believe that God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Diffey, 2015, Ch. 3) We trust that God be existent in three persons. After reading the Genesis chapters, I understood that God

Being a Christian is great. You have God; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. You have all three behind you and there for you no matter what. You can always count on God, no matter what you do as God forgives you and your sins. God is good. God gives Christians life after death; eternal life. (Kingsley, Charles, 2004) All you have to do is believe, have faith, trust, and love god. God is love. According to the Christian worldview, one gains eternal life by believing that Jesus died for our sins. We have to believe in God and trust and ask for forgiveness for our sins. We have to let God in our lives, talk to God every day. I have to use John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life," as bible verse that supports this because I remember this verse perfectly from going to Sunday School and Bible School as a child. The thing that could be confusing or troublesome is not actually seeing God as a person, as a physically human being. We are supposed to believe that God is there for us, but we never see him. This may be confusing to some. Also we are never told about Jesus’s childhood. He is just there, born to an unmarried mother and father from a rather backwater town in Palestine and an embarrassment to his family. (Diffey, 2015, Ch. 5) Yet we are supposed to be married before children and so on. I can see where this would be confusing to some Christians. You teach and preach it one way, but Jesus’s life was not that way? Also according to the textbook, when did Satan exactly become evil? (Diffey, 2015, Ch. 4) Christianity could influence one’s thinking and behavior because if they live a Godly life, they will be more forgiving, faithful, and loving. When I think of “Church People” or Christian’s, I think friendly and always there for you. As you become a Christian you put yourself out there for people, you become more personable
In this assignment you will summarize and analyze the essential elements of the Christian worldview and reflect on implications for your own worldview.
There are a variety of differing worldviews in practice today. Every person has a worldview that is shaped by their experiences, pasts, families, traditions, values, and beliefs that form the core of who they are. The Christian worldview is no exception. This worldview is formed by the beliefs and teachings of the Bible. The worldview is shaped and centered around the view of who God is, the purpose of humanity, the true identity of Jesus, the restoration of humans to God, acknowledging the strengths and weakness of the worldview, and the practicality of living out the worldview.
When you look around and gaze at the beautiful creation before you, do you reflect on how amazing God is? God made the creation, man, and everything surrounding the two. There are many different worldviews. This paper will focus on the Christian worldview. The Christian worldview involves God, humanity, Jesus, and restoration.
“In the God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1) God existed before all of His creation, therefore He is the sovereign creator. He created all to be good in His perfect wisdom. Though God is invisible, He has several distinct characteristics; compassionate, faithful, infinite, just, wise and all-powerful.
Christian Worldview also revolves around an agenda of concepts and principles in which these Christian individuals, organizations and values understands and connects with the world God There are a numerous amount verses throughout the bible that describes God’s characteristics and his work of creation. In Genesis 22:14 he is a God that provides, In Exodus 15:26 he is a God that heals, In Judges 6:24 he is a God of Peace, Exodus 17:15 he is a God protection, In
Since the beginning of time humankind has either accepted, rejected, or altered history. Accepting and rejecting a particular point of view can ultimately lead to conflict due to a difference of opinion. Altering history can also lead to conflict, but the individual modifying the details of history do so to satisfy what they believe to be the truth. That being said, worldview boils down to individual truth. The purpose of this essay is to explore various worldviews derived from, or in response to, Christianity to analyze how their disparities led to conflict.
If a person wanted to review their worldview critically, they could come to this lecture. They could critically look at their impact on the world and how their actions can make the world a happier and cleaner place. They would only learn more about the Christian worldview, but they would learn about two different people’s views on the world are similar and different.
Today I found that valuing the impression of socio-cultural modifications and pluralism on Christian worldviews was holistic. I started by defining the terms. Research and discussion board entries support the authenticity of scholars who have authored books on this week’s topic.
Several decades after Jesus’ accession and promised return, many early Christian communities struggled to reconcile what they considered a delay in Christ's return, with the hope that he will return soon. In waiting for the elusive triumphal return, believers found themselves in a quandary. On one hand, they diligently worked to faithfully fulfill the evangelical command given by Jesus upon his departure, experiencing growth and expansion. While on the other, they longed for his return, hoping for deliverance from the ills of the world. This was a difficult and confusing time for the community of believers, having a missionary period within the evolution of Christianity, experienced the effects of an underdeveloped theological framework
Genesis introduces us to the true nature of God, that being the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit or simply put The Holy Trinity. Some may wonder how can God be three different entities, but this isn't the case and the simple answer would be because He's not limited in being like humans. But to further elaborate the Book tell us that "The Holy Trinity is one God in three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy
With a topic as broad and vast as the Christian life, it is certain that there are many different viewpoints and insights to consider. Whether it be about our understanding of God or how we view the life of Jesus, different philosophies and schools of thought offer us various answers that, although they may have some commonalities, are fundamentally very different. When exposed to the traditional views of Barron, the historically critical views of Borg, the contemplative ideology from Laird, and the postmodern philosophy of Caputo, one is forced to develop different perspectives and expressions of the Christian faith as a whole.
As Christians it is important that we have a clear understanding of the doctrine of Christianity. Without knowing what we believe and why we believe it, how are we to share those beliefs effectively with a world that so badly needs to hear about it? My goal with this paper is to discuss two of the five main doctrines that were covered in this course as well as reflect on my own personal observations of the course matter.
The Bible presents a text record of God’s work which is central and important to the Christian faith. This work begins with Creation of all with the familiar line,” In the beginning…” in the Book of Genesis. Christians believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, The Resurrection of Christ, and the Holy Trinity. The Holy Trinity consisting of God in three persons: God the Father, Jesus the Son of God and the Holy Spirit. These three aspects combined are first-order points of doctrine. In the Christian worldview, the purpose of man is more than existing on Earth, it is to find salvation to have eternal life with God. In the following essay I will present and briefly summarize several Christian world view elements. These elements include: God, humanity, Jesus, restoration and reflection.
God is Supreme, All Embracing, ETERNAL Living Being in which organism – THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE - we all live - move, have our being, and fulfill the role of being the SENSORY INSTRUMENTS in function of its CONSCIOUSNESS.
Understanding whom God is one of the hardest tasks to wrap our minds around because of how majesty God is and we will never be able to fully understand everything about God. However, God does allow his Word to tell us more about Him and more importantly the love we he has for us all. To understand how important who God is all one has to do is look at the articles of faith from the Church of the Nazarene. The very first article of faith explains the beliefs of the Triune God. Article 1 states, “We believe in one eternally existent, infinite God, Sovereign Creator and Sustainer of the universe; that He only is God, holy in nature, attributes, and purpose. The God who is holy love and light is Triune in essential being, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” (Manual).
