This week I learned some important things about how to give and receive constructive criticism. Also I learned how to find the way to handle criticism in order to improve relationships and how to give a constructive feedback when I have to criticize somebody. Without a doubt, all this knowledge will be absolutely helpful for me. Not only in my development as a Sait student, but also in my experience in a workplace in the near future because now I have the strategies and the knowledge to handle someone else opinion about my development. As a result, if a have to give my feedback about somebody else, now I know how to transform any criticism in something positive for me.
The other important lesson I learned was that research and reflection are essential to good teaching. Torey Hayden had quite a few unorthodox methods
Greetings to you on our final week of class! It has been a journey that I’m glad I have received the chance to experience in which I learned a lot. This week I chose to compare and contrast “A Raisin in the Sun” and “Everyday Use” because they have a lot of similarities. “Everyday Use” was one of my favorite stories to write about in week’s two forum. I pretty much got a good understanding about “Everyday Use” in week two but I feel like I know this story like the back of my hand now that I compared and contrasted it with another story. I did find it hard to come up with more stuff to write about that I didn’t cover in week two. My strengths were that “Everyday Use” was one of my favorite stories to write about so I had a better idea of what I was going to elaborate on but my weakness was just writing in general along with finding the motivation to do it. Looking forward to constructive feedback!
This week in class, we presented our revised challenge statements. I was extremely glad to have someone critique my revised challenge statement, as I was unsure about the changes I had made.
Please tell me one new thing you learned this week. Detail it so that I know you clearly really understand it well.
How will this knowledge affect your study practices? This will help improve my grades and gain more pleasure from the learning process. This will help with test anxiety and irrational thoughts. I’m able to focus my attention and make better decisions on the
Week 4: What an amazing week I have had. My children are on holiday, we have had a lot fun activities to do as a family. Holidays are the only times I get to spend with my children as I work from Monday to Friday. I have also taken some time off work, hence I am not as stressed as I am most of the times. However I tend to manage my stress well by practising. I really appreciate your feedback and the guidance given during this course work.
Good discussion forum, everyone providing excellent tips and information which adds a lot more value to our learning, especially this week that I was not sure what answers were expected for the discussion.
This week assignment was really fun because it actually addressed some programming. During this week's reading I learned some new programming concepts I did not know and I acquired a better understanding on some others I get used to apply in the practice but I did not known in theory.
This week was not too bad in regards to any of the work I actually needed to do. There are definitely some concepts that I think I need to improve my understanding but I think that I did take away what was available from the texts we were provided.
For closure I would like to call on students at random and ask them what we learned today, if they cannot answer I will call on another student to help them out with their answer. I will then give a quick preview of what we will learn tomorrow and then connect how we can use this information in our everyday lives
All of those skills and knowledge are helping me in my workplace. For example, I have learned from the Healthcare Informatics study, the concept of EMR and EHR and their meaningful use in health care settings. Through that concept; nowadays, I have a solid EMR user in my workplace. I will apply that concept in my future high position in the healthcare organizations here in the USA or somewhere in the world. The Project Management and the Marketing studies ameliorated my communication skills. One of my favorite classes was
5. Please outline in your own words, one other new thing you learned this week in the course. How does it apply to your life?
Throughout this year, I have learned to work more diligently with my school work. In this class, I learned the many topics and lessons Ms.Cranford provided for me. Putting aside educational lessons, this class taught me to communicate better with people I don’t know. I learned to adapt to a new class. In addition, I
Logan, I like your this week reflection. I am very glad you do see the benefits of coming to the IQ sessions and discussing the required material. This is true you can memorize whet you heard during lectures or what you read in the book but talking about it in the small group set up with your colleagues help you to recognize if you have good understanding of what you’ve learned. Overall I think you did a very good job this week as a scribe putting all discussed subject on the board in a very concise manner. You had greater participation this week too. I am really glad you are making more effort to be more vocal. You added many times important aspects to the discussion and helped to clarify other. In our Friday checkout Megan summarized nicely
